Clearly no one was interseted in this one! That's ok, I got over it as well, I decided to stay with toyota, I'm now fitting an A440F landcruiser auto transmission behind my 1HZ Turbo. So far, I'm looking at about $5,000 finished using all my own labour so I hope it's worth it. I'll post it all when I'm done.

Hi Guys I have a 1HZ Troopy with a Denco Turbo, boost compensator, oversize fuel pump, air to water intercooler, inlet and outlet Hiclones, 6" K & N pod air in, 3" short exhaust going out. I also run LPG over the top. I'm looking for advice about how to adjust the boost up as it's currently set at just under 7psi. Fuel rates to go up with it. I blow no smoke, this engine is only 60,000km old and when I'm going through heavy sand or on the freeway at 120km/hr on a 40" day, my EGT never gets past about 280' so I'm doing it easy. I believe the guy who set it up was very conservative and I'm in the middle of an automatic transmission conversion so I'll soon be needing that extra bit of power. At the moment the gas is off due to the pod installation and I'm also looking for suggestions about where it would be best to plumb it back in and maybe configuration of the squirt. Got a little project on the go, my gearbox is on it's last legs and I have a dodgy foot so I'm pulling my manual box and 1HZ turbo out of my HZJ75 and putting in the 4L60E auto trans and 3.8L V6 Ecotec out of a VT Commodore in it's place. I can help. I've got a 1HZ Turbo in my HZJ75 that has gas over the diesel. It's great, way more power and torque. The turbo has a sweet spot that kicks in at about 2000rpm, at that point when it reaches 2psi boost, the gas solenoid opens and you get a second kick that noticeably pushes you back into your seat. I can't find a single fault with it.
