  2. If they bring it to the Southern Wheatbelt, they will not survive the encounter <insert maniacal laughter here>
  3. I so desperately want headers. Anyone want to get it for me as a wedding present? (I'm looking at you, QLD mob!)
  4. When I bought my 5Y, I asked what the difference was. After consulting the sales book (?), he simply stated that it was an 'upgrade'. Not sure as to what was upgraded in it, but there you have it. FYI, my 5Y was one of the very last to leave South Africa.
  5. Ermmm, what does it mean if I were to say... I still have that model?
  6. I may have to turn up in the st204 - easier to get out of the driveway than the zz
  7. Unfortunately, there is racism right here on a car forum, our own beloved TOCAU. Pity.
  8. Kenneth - damn you have a good memory! Yep, I as given a warning whilst driving in Kalamunda very late at night. It was so dark I could barely see the sides of the road, which were better illuminated with the spottie/foggie thingys. The police disagreed, and suggested I use high beam instead. Okaaaay, that makes sense! Apparently the rule (in WA) is thus: you can only have 1 pair of light sources on at any one time. So you have have your driving lights on, but not fogs, OR you can have your park lights on AND fogs. Hope this helps.
  9. Thread of the day. I need a make over.
  10. I didn't even realise mine had expired. I will be in touch!
  11. Thanks y'all, it was great! Loved Hooters and the BBQ. Just got back to WA. Time to go to sleep.
  12. I'm off now, but I'll see y'all at the very least at Hooters for grub (unless the airlines cause issues). Wooooot! (I don't really know what a woot is, nor what it means, but I thought it was appropriate.)
  13. Donations can be made to the Narrogin Podiatry Department: just deposit money in my pocket. Shall I bring the Camry instead (just to change it up)?
  14. I'm thinking of bringing my ST204. At least it's something different!
  15. been a bit cold the last few days because of the wet weather. but if it's a fine day usually day temps of about 22-25 deg so not bad. Some of the water parks are heated too!! Elan I'll shoot you a pm with my phone number. tell me where you are staying so we can organise a meet up point then get to Hooters. Excellent - skimpy bather will be brought. FYI all, we are staying at Neptune Resort, 32 Surf Parade, Broadbeach. June 7 - 13. Thanks B - a meet up point will be great as we will have been up and travelling for quite some time... at that point, I 'll be good for only sheep impersonations - ie following!
  16. Danke - I didnt see it there. Sarah and I would like to join you at Hooters for dinner, so +2, please! (That is assuming that the flights run on time, etc). If anyone is going to be driving through Broadbeach, could you please holler at me (PM) so that we can convoy?! Woohoo - see you there! Yet again, I shall rep WA at consecutive national meets! Mish, I WANT MY TROPHY!
  17. hi yall, S & I will be on the Gold Coast this coming week. I know very little about the lay of the land, so can someone please tell me where you will be and when so that WA may stand a chance of being represented. Ironically, we are hiring a car... an Echo. 18. To be spotted soon: Sarah and I hooning around the gold coast for a honeymoon in a widdle Echo, 7 to 13 June. Hazaaah!
