HI guys, i have a 2006 CV rav 4 with 74k and with a shocking fuel economy of 14L/100k. I was wondering whether anyone has ever converted their petrol rav 4 into LPG in Victoria, if so how much did it cost. And also how much are you saving from doing this, and whether there are high service cost with the gas conversion. thanks.

hi all, i have a 2006 rav 4 cv model which i just bought second hand at 74k. its v4 2.4l all wheel drive. anywayz, i seriously can only get 340k before the empty light shows up and really only pushed it to 360k before fuelling up. i cant believe how bad this cars fuel economy is, i bought it and didnt bother about researching the fuel economy as it was a toyota and i knew they usually have good fuel economy. is anyone in the same boat ? or did i just buy a lemon car. let me know how much your getting and if there are any way to improve the fuel economy. can i possibly put this onto gas? besides the obvious, i might have to let this car go cant afford to hold on to it with the fuel consumption this bad. i do probably 70 percent of city type driving and 30 percent of highway driving . let me know your thoughts . thanks. You said earlier in this thread that you installed an aftermarket camera, how is that possible if you dont have the rca adapter to plug into the 4 pin connection in the head unit? could you possibly run through the steps in how to install aftermarket camera to oem head unit ? thanks

Hi everyone, i need help bad, i purchased a 2013 gxl rav 4 touch screen head unit in australia and installed it into my 2006 rav 4. Only the female 20 pin did not fit into the 16 male pins on the 2013 head unit but that doesnt matter as its only for the SWC. Everything works except there is no sound what so ever. I had to purchase an antenna adapter which works fine except theres a blue wire which i dont know where to plug in and think this might be the key. I purchased the OEM head unit from ebay brand new. 2013 Genuine Original Toyota 6 1 Display Bluetooth MP3 Text MSG Function USB | eBay I just cant figure why there is no sound, please help.
