It does this in neutral as well and currently has 98 fuel in it. It seems to bounce off at 5200ish revs as if its hit the limiter?

My 1994 Celica engine rattles alot at over 5k revs and it stops accelerating. It gets to 4.5k revs starts rattling and then hits 5k and it rattles pretty loud and the tach slowly moves up but very slow. It seem to do this in 1st and 2nd i haven't tried any other gears with this issue... Can anyone help me with this issue?

My 1994 Celica has an engine rattle at over 5k revs it hesitates to continue revving. It also tends to lose any power until i shift. This occurs in 1st and 2nd gear... i haven't tried the higher gears... Can anyone help my identify this problem?
