  1. Re-installing a left front fender on sons 1990 Camry after he had a bingle, and I discovered a second plastic water tank! It was broken so I am needing to replace it, but what is it for? There seems to be no pipes going to it, and it has a big opening that connects to a plastic coupleing that also seems to go nowhere? Can anyone assist here please? Thanks
  2. Thanks...I already have the donor car in the backyard ...I eas just looking for some info to help do the job...shortcuts, what parts to remove as well as what to leave on and some methodology as well
  3. Just wanted to ask if someone can direct me to any sorts of tutorials/instruction guides for doing the job in the title? The Camry currently has manual steering. Thanks PS: I did a Google search but all that comes up is replacing parts on an existing factory installed system.
  4. Just wondered if anyone had come across a trick (or workaround) to repair the plastic door sill trims screw mounts? The ones on my vehicle the screws simply keep spinning around without tightening and when the trim is removed you can see why. Each trim has a plastic "wedge" under each hoe that snaps into a rectangular hole in the door sill panel and then the screw goes into this. But in this case the screw can no longer get purchase. Is there any solution anyone can think of without the need for me to go to Toyota for parts replacement? Any opinions welcome as something someone says may trigger and idea to me for a way to repair it. Thanks
  5. Thanks for replying - sorry my bad , that's the wifes car..this one is a 1990, just checked the compliance plate.
  6. Is it possible to modify a Camry (95) which has manual steering to power steering? If so can someone point me to resources (parts etc etc) that could assist? Thanks
