  1. http://auto.samondeo.com/images1/toyota-aurion-sportivo-zr6-6.jpg im just worried with the sports kit on the bottom it may not have clearance, but ill try and drop into towbar shop that can test fit.
  2. Hey all, I've been researching on towbars for my 2007 Aurion ZR6, I've recently purchased a jet ski and want to be able to tow it. i have seen the factory fitted towbar which requires them to cut hole in the rear bar and the thought of that brings tears to my eyes haha. My question is, Are there any towbars that dont require cutting a hole that can be mounted underneath to the frame? -BADZR6
  3. I found coilovers to be the most effective for lowing my car, as springs wouldnt be able to give the same effect, i have a custom set from a guy i QLD which are similar to BC racing. You'll find the ride is a lot harder and handles sharper and doesnt feel like a boat which is what i wanted, yet it still comfortable on the highways as i can adjust the stiffness. but each person is different, if you know anyone around your area with coilovers or even better another aurion that is lowered ask them to go for a ride around the block in theres, then you can gauge whether or not there are exactly what you want :) -BADZR6
  4. There was no speeding in the process of making this video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9YHD2Og1Es]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9YHD2Og1Es
  5. Tryed uploading a video, but its saying im not permitted to! Here are some pics anyway
  6. The bag itself can even blow out, I've heard two pop before, and there bloody loud! But most common things are what jeffy mentioned. If I had the cash laying around, I would bag mine, they do look tough when done right! There's a guy in Sydney with a bagged zr6 and it is so damn sexy! I'd certainly do some research and find a reputable installer, at the end of the day they'll be able to answer your questions, it's what they do for a living.
  7. Hey dave, I have received quotes for bags for around 7-9k which are engineered and are legal, otherwise you can get them installed for 2-4k but it wouldn't be legal, I know plenty of people who run them that aren't engineered but run the risk of being defected. Hope this helps.
  8. Just pay someone to do your foggies and parkers, unless you wish to have cuts and scratches up your arm, not a fun experince, but totally worth they look of LED's.
  9. Kay, once yours has been done, any chance you could post some photos up :) mine needs some attention and was considering hydro dipping it, but may respray it.
  10. I've got my aurion on coilovers which looks sick but is far from practical!! I scrape my front bar daily, aswell as the exhaust running underneath the car on most speed bumps, but hey we do this stuff because it looks 200 times better lowered haha
  11. Since owning my 2008 ZR6 I cannot fault it. It is a solid, well built, comfy and bloody quick car. Still being on my Ps I do thrash it but no matter what I have thrown it into, be it ridiculously fast hill runs or long trips it has never failed to disappoint. I've only had the car for 10 months and almost clocked up 35,000kms on it and it has never missed a beat. 100% satisfied with my aurion!
  12. It's hard to say man, I found with my 19x8.5 +35 it's okay, but I had issues with the 19x9.5 +45 on the rear, I was originally running 245/35/19 all round but the Goodyear eagle F1s had quite a square profile, so ended up running 235/35/19 on the rears just so it would clear, in saying that I'm lowered but I've had mates who run stock suspending and have no issues. The brand of tyre can also make slight differences.
  13. Im not sure if the HIDS are polarity sensitive, have you tried changing swapping the red for the black and vice versa. Seems strange they arent working buddy. I remember when i bought mine they came with a manual explaining the setup, but i cant find it :/ Im pretty sure Autobahn sell the same ones, maybe drop past a store and see if you can have a look at the instruction manual. Youll love the end result, they look 200% better than the standard yellow halogen globes!
  14. Hey Sean, There easy as to install, I wouldnt recommend connecting the red to the positive of the battery as said previously, as they will be permanently connected and your battery wont last very long haha. Ive attached a photo below, the prongs simply sit in the plug were the original halogen globe was pushed into. Just make sure your car is turned off! The HID ballast pumps out a large current that would give you a kick! You should secure the ballast "screws", but i found cable ties do the job just fine :P Hope this helped :) -BADZR6
