  7. Had some issues a while back with a Gold Camry Sportivo paint job after an rear end shunt accident, looked great until you put your polorized sunnies on in full sun then you could see where they had sprayed. They thought I was crazy till I pointed out the sprry lines that could not be seen with the naked eye. Made them do it again!
  8. Not long once I had worked out how to get everything apart, around 1hr 45min all up, the biggest problem is getting the "A" Pillar covers off where the air bags are to get to the initial connection, then its just a case of threading the cables through the maze behind the dash. Did a reversing camera a few weeks ago and it was way easier.I recommend to anyone trying anything like this to get yourself a trim removal kit off eBay, really cheap anywhere from around $10 upwards, saves so much time and damage to the car trim, cover the gear shift area with a towel or small blanket to also prevent damage especially to the touch screen or audio equipment.
  9. Done! let me know if you don't get them
  10. Cant see how to post photos, perhaps someone can let me know?, however there are lots of photos on line if you search for Toyota 86 centre console armrest. 18. Yep solved it! changed the wheels to 16" rims fitted 205/55R 16 tyres and the difference is amazing, rides much better and still feels great. Not expensive either, got them from Bob Jane T Marts. Keeping the originals if I need to swap over later. Martial bliss at last!
  19. Ok given up trying to get info from Toyota on adjusting the passenger seat height, has to be a way thought parts must be made for left hand drive cars.?? Decided to get a temporary fix, had a small wedge shape cushion made and trimmed to match the seat by a local car trimmer. Works a treat only cost $100 and keeps the wife quiet.... Bargain! LOL
  20. Would love to make the passenger seat height adjustable like the drivers, anyone got any ideas? Thought about trying to find parts from a LHD version but Aus Toyota dealers dont want to know. Has to be an overseas site that has something??
  21. Thanks I'll take a look. Got to say just been out for a quick spin, love that car! makes me feels alive.
  22. Yes thats the plan, would like to have both sets so I can retain the future value, does anyone have a set of 16" rims they want to part with?
  23. Yes I took a GT for a ride yesterday with the standard smaller rim and larger wall tyre and the difference is huge, also the seats appear to be somehow more comfortable but I'm told they are the same seat. Trouble is now the wife is just real against the car and I love it.... stalemate!
  24. So far as understand it the body, suspension and engine are the same, the difference is trim and more toys.
