  3. Ok so i've had 2 sets of wheels on my car (the ones that came with it "first set") and the ones i have put on the car now. first set Wheel Brand/Design: Avanti racing Wheel size: 17 Wheel width: 8 Wheel offset: +20 Tire size: 225/50r17 Suspension type: had them with stock and with BC coils Feedback: no problems with them at all, sat pretty well on the car and no scrubbing. second set Wheel Brand/Design: Koya ISR5 Wheel size: 19 Wheel width: 9.5 Wheel offset: +38 front and +32 rear Tire size: 245/35R19 Suspension type: BC coils Feedback: - front bit of poke, just to my liking. no scubbing -Rear perfect fit, scubbing hard out at the moment, going to have to roll the cars and maybe bring the rear up a bit. -Robert
  4. 19" tyres are not that much. i get my art sport 245/35r19 for $125 a tyre.. -Robert-
  5. They are a few more $$ but you them have the option of putting your car to what ever high you like "within reason" as for comfort.. i have always had coilovers in my cars and it has never bothered me personally.. you should be able to get a different spring rate when you order them for a better ride.. say a 5kg spring or so if it does bother you. as for guard rolling.. you can pay someone to do it properly, by the tool yourself or.. my fav.. just use some tubing.. "youtube knows all" -Robert-
  6. get some coil over for it. bc do sets for about $1200. just put some in mine and they are great. also.. i hope you do get pulled over.. i just fitted 19 x 9.9 +38 and +32 on mine. i don't think the cops will bother you to much. also.. when you go lower you will have to roll your guards, it will scrub. -robert-
  7. RoadRunner would be correct. the only difference would be the turbo one would be more awesome in every way! :D -Robert-
  8. Wouldn't be to hard, just need to money to back your plan up. custom manifold and probabley head gaskets and the turbo, ecu. you would want to bugget about $20,000 with everything to have something half desent. -Robert-
  9. Hello everyone, I just brought my first Aurion. Always like to be around people with the same intrestest and what not. I brought it from a dealer up at noosa about a month ago with 88,xxx ks on the clock It's a 2008 sx6 When i picked the car up it was pretty much stock, just had the after market wheels. Mods so far are just some coil overs and a head unit future mods are - New wheels - Roof spoiler - Roof racks - Slim line weather shields - Front grill - Subs - Air intake It's going to be my daily driver, so I'm not going to do to crazy with it. I also have a 180sx witch is my power house.. so.. :-) I'm a mechanic by trade so i will be trying to help out people when i can :-) if you have any questions, feel free to ask and i'll help out the best i can. i will more then likely be asking just as many untill i get to know the car inside and out :-) Looking ford to getting to know people and joining in a few events "if there are any" -Robert-
  10. Best bet would be to take it to your local mechanic. Try and find one that does a free inspection. things that it could be. -link pins -sway bar D bush -control arm ball joint -strut top -the strut itsself and mechanic they has some idea of what he is doing should be able to work it out :-) Or if you have some mechainical knolage they are quite easy to check for yourself :-) -Robert-
