  1. No I don't have a pic of it all the way down I'm sorry. But from the pics above you can definitely lower it at least another 15, maybe even 20mm on the coil overs as there is still plenty of adjustment left.
  2. Hey Crypt, I went with BC Racing from Just Jap in Sydney (http://justjap.com/bc-racing-coilover-suspension-kit-toyota-rukus-bb-qnc20-5080.html?SID=d3kqji6b696e6knum52l1go3h3) I installed them straight out of the box at the pre set height they shipped them at, and that is what you see in the pics, but you could easily wind them down another 15-20mm. The problem is in all honesty even at that height my girlfriend was scraping on everything as she takes the car to go do shopping, etc. and the speed humps were killing her. I lifted it back up about 10mm to get a little more clearance. I totally LOVE the idea of having it slammed into the ground, but in reality for an everyday driver that is not willing to slow down and take a little extra care it is just unpractical to have it slammed all the way!
  3. I lowered ours with coil overs. The girlfriend is taking a little time to adjust to the fact that she can no longer ride over speed humps at 80kph, but she will get it figured out eventually!!
  4. Yeah I was talking to the woman that owned the orange one, she was so excited and passionate about it! She was telling me everyhting they had done in great detail! Nice ride for sure!
  5. Calipers wrapped in reflective vinyl is a popular new trend in America. 3M have a new product on the market that can take the heat. Pretty cool stuff! http://www.ikonwraps.com/3M-Brake-Caliper-Vinyl-s/29221.htm
  6. Hey guys, I'm fortunate enough to be here in Las Vegas attending SEMA. Today was only the setup day with the main show starting tomorrow and running through till Friday, but here are a couple pics of some Scion xB's or Toyota Rukus' as we call them in Australia! Will upload more pics throughout the week. Full galleries will be posted each day to our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/ultimatecarwraps
  7. Really looking forward to MotorEx - make sure to call by our stand and say hi! I left our Rukus outside last night and the damn thing went all rusty! Hope we can get it shined up in time for the show this weekend!! :)
  8. We got the whole car stripped apart right now as we getting ready to install the vinyl wrap
  9. I honestly can't remember what the DRL's cost, I think they were a couple hundred dollars for the pair but I really can't remember. The genuine part number for them is 8121A-12011 (right) and 8122A-12022 (left). And yes I agree I need to change out that lower grill and get some fog lights in there!!
  10. We bought this car a couple years back with plans to use it as a small promo car for our business. It's taken nearly two years, but the vehicle will finally be getting wrapped shortly and go on display at the MotorEx show on July 19 - 20 at Melbourne Showgrounds. I travel quite a bit to the United States and I bought back some Scion badges and the LED vertical lights for the front bumper.
  11. Yes we dropped it down with BC coilovers. I pretty much bolted them on straight outta the box, and that is the height it sits at.
  12. Hey guys, Have been a lurker in the forum for a couple years since we bought our Rukus new in 2012. Finally getting around to modifying it a little as you can see in the pics!
  13. G'day peoples! Been lurking here for a while and figured I should join as we begin to customize our 2012 Toyota Rukus. Or Toyota BB. Or Scion XB. Or toaster. Or box. Or whatever you want to call it!!! Look forward to chattin' to y'all!
