  1. Not sure if this is the right place but here goes. I have a Camry 2007 (US model) over head console with the built in homelink module. Not sure it will work with all Aus garage openers, but it works with 2 different units I have at home which operate on 433MHz If you're interested PM me. http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/H3QAAOSw6EhURpCh/$_57.JPG
  2. It refers to the "lack of feedback" when the steering is on center. This is noticeable on all models prior which also have the electric motor driven power steering. You get used to it though. It would bean issue if you wanted to race the car, which apparently all motoring writers do. Generally all models of Kluger could do with a suspension which is better suited to Aussie conditions and driving distances. I will be putting new struts and springs in mine asap.
  3. One of the few anomalies in the well appointed Grande is the nasty plastic mid row centre console, which effectively turns the entire vehicle into a childs rattle as soon as you put even a small item in it. Not to mention the "additional" (as if they could possibly be needed) two drink holders, 10" away from the pullout units in the rear of the front console being redundant. Has anyone found a usefull conversion or aftermarket replacement for this misplaced of recycled plastic waste? Is anyone willing to sell one surplus to requirements, to me, at a bargain price obviously, in the hope that I can butcher it into some form of usefullness?
  4. Thanks. Well, where to start? I have had several, well, many, Toyota 4wd's. Very hard to knock them. The Kluger is an upgrade from a 1989 2 litre turbo diesel Surf,so as you can imagine another universe altogether as far as luxury goes. The Surfs were not spartan by any means but it's hard to compare 2 decades of improvement. I have only had the car for 3 days, but so far I'm bonding to it rapidly. 2008 Grande, Dark Grey with the works. Pretty sweet ride so far.
  5. Thanks Altezza, Thought there were just tumbleweeds in here...LOL.

    Sat Nav Manual

I pick up a 2008 Grande on Thuirsday 24th July. I know it has a manual for the Sat Nav so I would be happy to scan and .pdf whatever you need.
  7. Saw this the other day while looking for headphones....
  8. $5,000.00? Five Thousand Dollars? Have I got that right? That is a hell of a lot of money. Does your car leak huge amounts of oil or is there oil in the cooling system? I would get a second opinion from an independant repairer.
  9. Geday to all. Just a qucik hello as I have just purchased a new (used) 2008 Kluger Grande AWD and looking forward to getting the most from it...with your help. Upgraded from a 1990 2lte Turbo Deisel Surf which was primarily used for trips to our south coast retreat, carting the kayakto and from the water, towing and launching a tinny and general wet, sandy holiday transport. A big upgrade I have to admit. Looking forward to learning more about what appears to be a great vehicle. PS. I'm obviously illiterate, could a mod fix the spelling in the thread title?
  10. Hi all, Quick intro as I have just joined up. Extremely long time Toyota family/owner, 2 x Corolla, 1 x Hilux Dual Cab, 1 x 90 Series Cruiser, 1 x Forerunner, 1 x Surf, 1 x Camry 1 x Rav4, 1 x Lexcen and now proud new Kluger owner. Pi ck the new addition up on Thursday and looking for tips, hints and things to look out for regarding the new drive. Cheers and thanks in advance.
