  2. As you see the 86 center bore is larger requiring the use of hub spacers to make a safe but possible fit to your Corolla this should be your Corolla PCD specs. 4. No annual inspections in Victoria but when a vehicle changes ownership a roadworthy inspection is required. These work shops work under Vicroads jurisdiction to ensure an unregistered car or a car changing owners is safe to be on the road. That is why I sought the opinions from several workshops re being legal before I fitted the strobe brake device.
  5. Ask your local workshops who inspect for rego. The strobe effect goes through fast, medium then slow and finishes with the brake light going solid on. Mine is operating on my boot spoiler led brake light. The idea is catch the attention and alert the driver behind you are braking.

  7. can't see this is an issue for being illegal on road. I have had this module fitted to my Camry since 2014 . I researched several roadworthy work shops and all agreed they would pass the car for roadworthy when fitted. Many times I have had highway patrol behind me when braking and never once had an issue with the police. Ebay 12V 24V AU LED Strobe Controller Brake Tail Light Lamp Flash Flasher Module Box
  8. I'm confused. Your question was for DRL's. They are not fog or driving lights. DRL interprets as daytime running lights, meant to highlight your car to be more easily seen by other drivers for safety when driving in daylight hours.
  9. The white to amber and back is referred to as switch backs. White LED is on then when indicator is activated the colours changes to amber, but it much flash as an indicator not stay static. When turn signal is deactivated the colour switches back to white.
  10. This supplier shows different part numbers for the years you ask for. Also cab chassis is different to style side ute. Have a peek and compare. https://www.tagtowbars.com.au/
  11. Try looking at trucking supply stores. They usually have several different sizes (portrait & landscape) available and are made of material that is easy to trim to size.
  12. May I add a note re keeping A/C clean & free from bacteria build up ? In my cars & our 32 motel air conditioners we use Simple Green Air Con Cleaner. Completely safe with alloy & associated parts. Foams up has no toxic smell & rinses away itself. Easy to use very reasonable in price you can even buy 750ml pump packs from Bunnings Warehouse.
  13. Welcome to you from me in the Malley District. Your Spacia looks like a tidy project. Best of luck with the work.
  14. Hi, are there any driving lights fitted ? Perhaps not correctly wired via relays ect. This can cause your issue by overheating the lighting switch. Very high wattage globes can also cause your flickering.
  15. I see many, part number G92DH-33010, for sale on a Google search. Pictures & for sale on Ebay sellers have them from $15 upwards.
  16. G'day from an old man in Victoria. I find many articles of interest here in T/O club forum, hope you will too.
  17. This is the official ACCC recall. What are the defects? The Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU), responsible for the Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Stability Control System and Traction Control System, can remain live even when the vehicle is switched off. If moisture enters the HECU, an electrical short circuit can occur. What are the hazards? If an electrical short circuit occurs, this could result in an engine compartment fire when the key is switched off and the vehicle is parked. A vehicle fire could increase the risk injury or death to vehicle occupants or bystanders and/or damage to property.
  18. Hi, as you see these sensors are directional and only detect off centre to the vehicle. As Tony commented they are a parking aid but do not do the full frontal coverage you desire. I wonder if one could retro fit additional sensors, to the existing system, facing forward perhaps in the grille or above the existing ones on the flat bumper surface. I have many travellers & sales reps coming to my business complaining of your same issue.
  19. I have no tech knowledge in this old mans body but, I did see this a short while ago. (maybe USA info) How Do I Connect to Toyota Wi-Fi Connect? 25. Several are available on Ebay from USA, UK, Japan, UAE. Buying from other countries is not as hard as it used to be. I know we go to great lengths to get our desired parts and there is always some satisfaction in the winning the hunt.
