  1. Thanks for the reply. The past few days, been looking on car sales at Corolla, Yaris and 86 GT. Strangely, they're putting 512 (Amber) in the 86 GT and 513 (Deep Orange) in Yaris. I am working this out by the fascia numbers next to the 3.5mm socket on the front, 22840 for green, 22841 for amber and 22842 for deep orange. There is some ZRE152 Corollas that have the 512 installed just before production of ZRE182s So yeah, been interesting and something to do and research.......
  2. Hey guys, Sorry if this is a millionth post. Basically I want to know the official colour of the instrument illumination in a 2012 Toyota Corolla Ascent Sport ZRE152. Reason being (apart from being anal) is that I want to replace (update) the HU to the 2011 series. On googling here, found: http://www.scribd.com/doc/67060670/2011-Audio-Systems Here is the part number/s of the stereo I want. PZQ60-00511 (Green Illumination) PZQ60-00512 (Amber Illumination) PZQ60-00513 (Deep Orange Illumination) I am thinking the 2nd one (PZQ60-00512) is the right one for the Corolla, as I think Deep Orange is more of a reddish colour (for the 86 GT?) Thoughts? Abuse? Thanks!!
  3. Thing is, I don't want to pull everything apart (just to check), I want to have everything I need at hand, so I only need to do the job once..... :)
  4. Ok, looking at the pics on the original post, the current stereo I have is the one with the autotrans stick in the pic and I want to upgrade to the one that is missing the USB cover......clear as mud? I need to know if the stereo I currently have has the standard antenna plug or newer type 2 pin plug (that needs power to it?)
  5. See pic I've got a 2012 Corolla Ascent Sport with this stereo installed. Thinking of upgrading it to the current style of stereo (see other pic) which I am hoping will be just plug and play, but before I start pulling everything apart, I need to know if I need to buy a antenna adaptor for the new stereo or not. Thanks
  6. Hey guys, New to this forum. Just wanted to say that I am excited to be on here and take on everyone's info, comments and suggestions on how owning a Toyota can be fun and rewarding. Currently have a 2012 Corolla Ascent Sport (Manual) and since we loved the Corolla so much, we just recently purchased a 2014 RAV4 Cruiser Diesel (Auto). My wife and I never driven or owned a diesel, so we thought, why not, so far we are loving both cars and gotta say, we won't be getting rid of them anytime soon. Cheers everyone and thanks for having me. Fozz3d
