  1. By the way, corolla sportivo is still in sale and it will be there till a new corolla hits the production line. bzzzzzt wrong.. the sportivo has already been removed from the toyota website.. and i think the last shipment has already landed
  2. well.. personally id say learn to drive a manual.. and get a stivo.. If you're set on an Auto Conquest.. tell the dealer you want a full refund.. you could also tell him you found it cheaper elsewhere.. dont go into specifics.. they have no right to ask you where your getting it cheaper.. it all depends how good your poker face is
  3. Dont forget to bring Radios boys... ***** smith have some on special (2 pack for $69) they have an earpiece which is essential if you want to listen to music and still be able to hear the radio chatter (hahahah D.I.C.K is censored) i may have one spare BTW.. which side is the mobil on if im coming from Greensborough end? left or right? I know where they are just not which side i should be on and does anyone know how to get to the Toymods meeting point?
  4. BUT breaking news - SUPERCHEAP AUTO do KING SPRINGS Low or Super low for $139 a pair!!!! yer so thats $280 for front and rear.. then you have to fit them.. which imguessing will set you back at least 80-100.. Suspension city did mine for $350 fitted... will only work out cheaper if you fit them yourself
  5. August 2004, 20200Kms am i winning? id have even less K's but last year my GF and i broke up.. and i started driving... ALOT! good ol little trips that always seem to end up 1-2hours from melbourne
  6. RESET YOUR ECU :D should fix it.. Just in case you all missed it!
  7. My eyelids are attatched using 3M double sided tape.. they have been on for at least 8 months now and havent moved at all.. the double sided tape is super strong.. Btw if you cant see the bonnet of your corolla, you're either very short or you're doing the "bogan tilt" more commonly seen in commodores with P plates attached.. btw the leaking shocks are due to the lower spring.. they werent designed for it.. but i knew this when getting my super lows.. They dont die instantly though, Depends on how hard you drive I already budgeted new springs Ill be getting some Koni Reds or Yellows once the stockers go
  8. welcome to IATTSOL Im Addicted To The Sound Of Lift :) i still grin from ear to ear everytime i hit lift with the Injen CAI
  9. apart from the clutch issue and passenger door seal i ahvent had any issues with parts falling off etc.. although the rattles throughout the rev range are a concern.. and CORZZA the SA built corollas are inferior to the Jap built ones.. its common knowledge
  10. id be in for a second CAI for that kinda money :)
  11. nope.. i dont mean the SA stivo... the SA doesnt have side skirts.. ruins the look .. p.s. im fully aware the AUS stivo is built in SA.. but it is built for AUS specs not SA's
  12. thats a bit unfair... what about the first 30 to pay for their run? And how exactly is that any fairer? i wont be able to make it until 11am as i work sunday mornings.. take me off the list please... i really cant be bothered if its going to cause issues
  13. nah you're not welcome.. buggar off :P on a more serious note.. welcome to TOCA :) enjoy your stay..
  14. They dismissed the Corolla on looks alone.. and as we all know.. 1) the aussie sportivo looks better than the UK one. 2) The stivo was never meant to stay stock if those guys had a CAI on that rolla.. they would have creamed their pants.. plus they obviously cant shift properly.. the guy compained he cam off high cam mode... well learn to shift you dragslut wannabe <_< but 4 ppl in a hot hatch.. thats a nono.. hot hatches are for selfish ppl who enjoy the drive by themselves :)
  15. http://stores.ebay.com.au/Ultimate-Number-Plates-Victoria omg... who in there right mind would pay that for a numberplate!
  16. very interested in the pics... i want to see these rims on a rolla
  17. confirmed.. but may not be there until after 11am again... might have to work that morning.. will be sporting my lovely bakers delight uniform again
  18. lows look ok.. anything is better than stock.. there is no price difference.. if i had my choice again id still go for the superlows.. sure speedbumps can be an issue.. but i havent come across a speedbump yet that i couldnt get over without scraping p.s. Yer RME1 that was me around the corner from the cop station.. im sure they are used to the sound of my car now, i give it frequent fangings up Burgundy street in the morning (im a baker).. but always disappear before they arrive :P i actually had a cop catch me once.. on the way to work.. but we are on good terms with the Heidelberg cops.. he just said to slow it down a little.. didnt even get out of his car I think secretly he wanted to go for a spin yes you spy eyelids :)
  19. It is stiffer than normal suspension.. you have to be more careful, big bumps rattle your teeth.. as there is less suspension travel lows is 35mm drop super lows 50mm drop i believe apparently lows for handling super lows for looks (of course handling is increased as well, but the lows handle better apprently)
  20. Nah.. but after you have your car lowered the springs need to settle for around 1000ks.. then you get the wheels aligned.. funny story for mine.. booked my 20K service at Cannon in Heidelberg.. decided i may as well get the wheel alignment done at the same time (had been 1000ks) When i took my car in the wheel alignment felt perfect anyway.. was driving straight, not pulling to either side.. got the car back and now when i hold the steering wheel in the centre it goes left went back and told them.. only to be informed that they dont do the alignment there... much to my suprise.. When i enquired about who drove my car to the wheel alignment place they told me the beaurepairs guys come and pick it up.. VERY ****** OFF! i dont like anyone driving my car.. so not only did they do a **** wheel alignment.. they also added some scratches on the front of my bumper.. (underneath, but thats beside the point) NEVER EVER going to Cannon Toyota in Heidelberg again.. except for my seemingly monthly warranty repairs end rant
  21. Best value CAI atm is the INJEN available from INDKONCEPT on ebay... costs roughly $360 to your door.. the "ces cai" will be available eventually but the cost will be more than the injen and the gains wont justify it.. strut braces etc can be bought at autobarn and such places i believe.. as for exhaust systems.. well the only one with proven gains is the CES but any aftermarket exhaust system should pretty much provide you with gains as well
