  1. Bought as a project car/daily driver... Fairly stock for now... Awaiting 4AGE transplant and manual gearbox conversion.
  2. Check this link if you want to purchase OEM parts to replaced the damaged ones on your camry: http://www.ozeparts.com/
  3. Yes, the tires are 253/45/17s! :) No spacers needed on the rear.
  4. I had a sound from my Kings when going over bumps and a length of rubber tubing wrapped round the top coils solved that issue. When compressed, the top 2 coils were too close to each other and when it hit bumps the sound occurred. easy DIY install with the rubber tubing.
  5. haha, yeah I got a few replies that said it looked better from the side than from the back... But I like the missing park bench and red bull wings analogy, I'll remember those 2!
  6. Since I have to drive my camry for a little while longer until I can get a new car, I though I'd add something to it...either you will love it or you will hate it. :) Job is still unfinished...brake light to hook up, some more anchoring down of screws to be done. It was kinda painful to drill holes in the boot though but once you done one hole, the rest is easy! :)
  7. I like the looks of the 20s on that azura! :) looks tops!
  8. Yeah I bought my car at the auction and did not get a chance to test drive it. On the day I collected it I was praying that there would be no serious trouble with it and thankfully it was largely ok. Needed a service and timing belt change badly though...and a good interior clean. The only other option if you want to have the chance to have a mech view the car before you buy it would be to check out used car yards that take in and sell fleet vehicles...even though these vehicles might be bought by the car yard at an auction anyway, and the dealer would then place his cost on top of the car plus his margin in the sale price, warranty etc I would imagine...
  9. http://www.pickles.com.au/ Click on Motor Vehicles and on the right search for cars in your state. Cheers
  10. Yeah, take it for an alignment as soon as you can... I'm thinking about getting my steering pull fixed also.
  11. Sorry I read your post wrongly! my bad!
  12. I always ask the shop to make sure that the steering wheel is straight when I go for an alignment. Found Bob Jane to be the best, but they could not align my wheels properly recently because I changed springs and needed a camber kit...they told me to go to a suspension specialists... Next time I'll just go to a suspension specialist because they have the parts there and I won't have to pay for a wheel alignment just to get told that I have to take the car somewhere else for further adjustments! <_<
  13. I had a clattering noise in my car over rough roads that was driving me crazy....and no matter how I tried I could not find out what the source of the sound was until one day I discovered it came from the passenger seat belt holder! Once I pushed the holder between the seat and the center console the noise stopped! And all this time I've been looking and thinking that it came from the dashboard area...
  14. Found these on the web...might be useful to some: http://opc.mr2oc.com/online_parts_catalog/...um_diagrams.pdf Cheers
  15. Hi mate, Nice setup! Just wondering what is the material you are using for the heatshield called? Thanks
