  1. Well I finally got fed up with the noise and frustrated with not being able to find a solution so I took it to the local Toyota service centre. They confirmed that it was definitely on the left front but after checking all the steering and suspension, replaced a worn tie rod end, rotated wheels, drain and replace front diff oil, checked left CV, they have no idea what is causing it. Their thoughts are either wheel bearings (which I have already replaced) or CV shaft issue. I'm surprised that no one except Manxman has offered any ideas?
  2. Hi All, I'm hoping for some help from all of the experts out there. My 07 dual cab has developed a clunking/whupping sound that seems to be coming from the front passenger side. It is speed related and comes in at about 50-60km/h, I have changed tyres around, replaced bearings (1 was noisy already). It's there in 2 & 4wd. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. Have you managed to fix or find out what's causing the noise? I have an 07 that has developed a similar problem. The sound seems to be coming from the passenger side and can be felt through the floor on that side. It is speed related and comes on at about 50km/h. I have replaced the bearings and swapped tyres but no change.
  4. Hi Phil, Did you resolve this issue at all? I have an 07 model that has just developed the same problem. Cheers Jimmy
