  1. Hey all I've got a 1993 Toyota Camry 2.2L 4-cylinder. The car has been absolutely fine since replacing the fuel pump/in-tank fuel filter but after giving it a bit of a hard time getting through traffic, say when i take off at the lights sometimes, it will miss. Sometimes you can feel it when you drive. One thing I have noticed is that inside the dizzy cap, the points are corroding (kinda like what you see on some battery terminals). Last time I tried to clean some off a old dizzy cap, they just collapsed (even with a small screwdriver to scratch it off) Would my problem most likely be the dizzy cap needs to be replaced since the contact of the rotor button not getting the decent contact like it should be? Any help would be appreciated
  2. well replaced the fuel filter/fuel pump out of my old wagon and works brilliantly ;) doesnt lack of power of take off or do anything it shouldnt' be doing :D
  3. hey all not sure where to begin, but my car starts fine, idles fine and when im on the open road its fine.. now the issue im having is say if im at the lights and i try and plant it or try to turn and plant it, the car runs out of power as if its running out of fuel but when i drive slowly its fine. any ideas? im gonna start looking at the fuel filter but would a bad fuel pump cause this? also what way is the fuel like supposed to come off the housing when taking the fuel pump out? cheers
