I have owned a 2011 KS-X since February this year. I am fairly certain (100%) that I received an audible warning when the distance to empty hit 80 kms and again at 40 kms to go, the audible warning would also sound when starting the vehicle if the distance to empty was less than 80 kms. A few weeks ago I noticed that the fuel light had come on and that the audible warning had ceased to function. The vehicle was in for a service today and I requsted that they fix the non functioning alarm. On collection of the vehicle I was advised that " the vehicle only has a low fuel warning light - no beeper, refer to owners manual " Can any one out there confirm if their vehicle gives an audible alarm in low fuel situations.
