  1. All sorted! Spoke to the electrical sparkie at work, he checked the wiring and confirmed that the head unit wiring is good for 10a. and the head unit/ tracker combined would be lucky to pull 5a at full load.
  2. Thanks for the reply Hiro, I didn't even think to use to constant 12v on the radio/ clock. I was worried that the draw on that circuit may be too high, the tracking system uses 12v-24v @ .04a-2.0a Would 2amp be to much for the stock wiring to supply on top of whatever its running already? If the stock wiring can handle the extra current then ill go ahead and do the easiest tracker installation ive seen
  3. Hi, I am installing one of these units into my Aurion, the process is simple for this unit type as it only records GPS speed and map plotting to my phone, Horizontal/ Vertical movement (Cornering, harsh braking or acceleration) and communicates via GSM (SIM Card). Required wires for installation: - 12v+ Constant (Always On) for charging the tracker battery - Earth - Ignition Earthing it is easy, and i'm sure i can source an ignition or acc wire from the head unit if i don't want to go directly to the internal fuse box. My question is, does anyone know of a Constant On 12v+ source that is internal to the car? i want to install the unit behind the center air con ducts in the dash, or does anyone here have an electrical diagram i can use to source one? as well as an ignition wire that is located in the same area? The main reason for asking this question is that i want to install the unit inside the car, without running directly to the battery.. and also to try an reduce the amount of panels that need to come off during the installation. The standard installation that we do for the Aurion doesn't suit my needs as i like knowing that some panels have never come off the car before, as well as keeping the installation hidden Can anyone help?
  4. Old Thread i know, Just installed some Alpine Type S speakers in the back of my Prodigy. I had crazy rattles in the back when anything with bass played (I dont have subs) just alpine type s in the front and rear. So to fix this i removed the parcel shelf cover, unbolted the speakers and put packing foam under the speaker frame. I cut the foam to follow the shape of the original speakers (not the new ones) as the originals take up more space. Doing this filled in all the gaps that the original speakers use to fill. I then taped the same foam around all of the clips on the parcel shelf cover (The big ones that lock it in at the back were the most effective). I didn't touch the pillar covers as i didn't want to stop an airbag coming out if needed. Long story short it fixed the issue 100%, parcel shelf would rattle when standard 6 stacker head unit was turned up to 20.. now i can turn it up to 45 and still get no rattles.. the standard headunit is amazing once you get the settings right and put a GTA car kit on it btw.
  5. Does anyone know where you can get the full door handle replacements?
  6. Will post photos once i get around to installing them, might even take photos of the process and make a quick guide for everyone
  7. All sorted, went for the LOW
  8. Hey Guys/ Gals, So I've gotten myself in a bit of a situation, after a LOT of discussion the mrs has agreed to let me either Lower my Aurion (30mm) or get the rear mufflers removed and replaced the resonators and 2.5" pipe. Lowering makes the car look better but might take from its practicality as a 5 seater curb mounting family car. Exhaust would sound good but might drone or sound like ***** on the freeway Springs $265 - install myself, Exhaust $460 drive in/ out Whats everyones thoughts?
  9. Looks great, does the front sit flush with the tire?
  10. Looks like the super lows 50mm is a winner then. Once I get them installed I'll post pics :)
  11. Company in the U.S. make and paint it for you before ahipping to match your factory colour. Once I can confirm that the U.S. Camry boot is the same shape as the aurion I'll pick one up
  12. What's the ride like on the super lows, does it feel like a go cart? Can you get around the city and over speed bumps without issues?
  13. Hi all! I was looking at purchasing one of these http://www.elitespoilers.com/inc/sdetail/toyota_camry_lip_spoiler_07_11_factory_lip_style/6862/736 this is one of the few sellers that paint the spoiler before shipping which is a really nice addition I have been told that the US Model Camry boot is the same design as the Aurion? does anyone know if this is true? as i have also been told that the Aus model Camry boot is not a match to the Aurion. If it wont fit, does anyone know of an Aus seller that can paint the spoiler for me? the eBay sellers quote way too much
