Actually I went to the transmission specialist, It's probably the torque converter that's broken, some metal things in the oil. I got a quote to get it all done with cleaning out the gearbox for 3000 $

Hey mate Actually my car is at the auto electrician, when I get it back I can check what auto it runs It depends actually when the car is cold it drops in gear straight away until I run the car for about 20-30 min it is Realy slow and sloppy This happens happens at the same time when the overdrive light is flashing, sometimes it stops flashing on the drive, but still slow moving forward I've checked the temperature all the time when it happens it is in normal temperature area, it has even no power after about 30 min running the Car. Your last question is exactly right except that it looses engine Revs aswell And one day It stopped at the traffic lights for about 5 min and couldn't get up the hill, I'd tried it on every gear, but the Rev's would only run up to about 1500 After 5 min of trying everything is could think of, it slowly started working again

I've been to the transmission specialist, he wasn't sure what it could be, so he send me to an engine specialist, and he send me to an auto electrician where the car is since Tuesday now, when he didn't find something I will leave it at the transmission specialist again to get the service done Yes even in reverse it is slow, like hardly moving back

No the Rev's are going up really slow aswell even when I put it in the lowest gear in the automatic transmission

Hey guys, I'm new here so let me know when I've done something wrong So my problem is that the overdrive light in my toyota hilux surf 2.4 turbodiesel 1992 is flashing after about 30 min of driving. when this happens, the car is really slow going forward, the ram's are going up really slow even when I'm going into the kickdown there is no change or shifting. When I'm in the first gear it's the same, it goes really slow, so doesn't matter if it's in drive or low gear. Sometimes if I turn of the car for 10 min it works again on about 80% of power Even in the morning my car is struggling to go up the ramp in the basement. I've been to 3 mechanics yet, nobody knows really what it could be, anybody help or an idea 💡
