  1. Hey guys, I've got a '94 CS-X and trying to get some wires through the firewall. The consensus is the big square grommet on the passenger side, but does anyone have any pics they can show me? I got as far as removing the glovebox but I ran out of time today to look for the grommet from the cabin side. As a backup, what other routes have you guys used for the Gen 3? Thanks in advance! Donn Gold Coast, Qld
  2. If there's no code in the Owner's Manual then this might work as it did for our old AE101 Corolla: The code will be the last four numbers of the car's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) which would be found in your registration papers or on one of the plates riveted to the body in the engine bay at the firewall. That's assuming also that the code is four digits, you'll have to check if it's different. I guess when in doubt, ask the Toyota dealer like we did. :-) Donn

Donn Thanks, i did see this grommit, however i didnt think i could have much luck getting a 4 gauge in there. I managed to get some through there in the end. I can get on with the install now. Thanks! Thanks for the tips supertownace.

  5. Hi Folks Has anyone had any issues with their Gen 3 Wide Body Camry on the following: 1. Leaking power steering rack 2. Clunking noise coming from the rear when travelling over light bumps on the road (even though my mechanic says he can't find anything wrong with the suspension). 3. Common places for oil leaks (rocker cover, etc) Any similar experiences or information is appreciated! Donn 1994 Camry CS-X (stock) 5S-FE engine
  6. Nup, dark green Gen 3 Camry stock standard so far. Subtle mods to follow. It'd be good to know if there are any mechanics around who're familiar with tuning the 5S-FE engine. Suggestions for suspension places also welcome. :-) Donn
  7. Gold Coast here too mate, joined the forum about 3 weeks ago after getting a '94 CS-X sedan. Anyone on the coast know some good Camry mechanics? I live in the Varsity Lakes/Robina area. Donn
