  1. Our reverse camera on the Kluger (2009) stopped working today. It now just shows a black screen. I assume it's a wiring or fuse issue? Is there an easy DIY way to check without having to take it into a Toyota service centre?
  2. SO having taken the fox to toyota for programming they couldn't do it either - seems I was sold a dud. Now I found a new one - and the seller being a good samaritan tells me they have had australians buy previously and it didn't work so she doesn't want to sell it to me if that's the case. The problem previously was that Australian fobs need to be 434Mhz whereas the ones for sale are 315Mhz. Does anyone know what frequency the Australian remote fobs are? Are they 434 Mhz or 315 Mhz?

    Hitch Lock

Bought a used Kluger 2009 KX-S. Has the tow bar/ball in the hitch and what looks like a lock (as well as a pin). tried opening the hitch lock with the key - key seems to fit in but doesn't turn. Is there a trick to open it? could it be stuck?
  4. This is a very useful post. I bought a Kluger second hand. Only came with one remote. I bought another remote on ebay. Inserted new battery. Followed the instructions above (several times). Seems I am doing it right as I get the door locks cycling twice to indicate programming mode. But then despite pressing lock/unlock and then lock on the new remote, nothing happens. There is not acknowledgment by the car locks (not one or two). So seems I am entering programming mode but then nothing. the existing remote works find with the car - lock, unlock, rear window open, etc... So can't be the onboard receiver or fuses. Any help appreciated. (Kluger KX-S 2009)
