  1. 15.1 BS unless someone has a timeslip.

If someone claimed that a ascent could do a 15.1 with minor mods on any other car forum you would be laughed at.

Absolute stupitidy. I have driven an ascent BTW. Its um boring, motor is ok but nothing inspiring.

I see lots of ppl with acents and levins on here who have spent fortunes making there cars look like stivos. if they saved or borrowed a little more money to begin with they would have been much better off.

1zz IS a shopping trolley's motor. My point is no matter what you do its boring and a A-B mums car. Who gives a stuff if someone spent 5 grand. Absolute waste of money and you would never get it back on resale.

I love seeing ppl in riced up base models, always worth a laugh, and a modded ascent is definitely funny. Fully sik maattteee..

Hey, Gumball. If you think the Sportivo is that GOOD, then please get a copy of the "Best Motoring International July - RB Japanese Muscle". Then you will know how would the professional rate the car. You will know what sort of Shopping Trolley the Sportivo is even it is a C-One project RUNX (Sportivo).

When you are laughing at the Ascent driver who mod their Ascent, the Integra DC2 Type R drivers are also laughing at you driving a "Lift'ed Shopping Trolley" simultaneously.

People modding their vehicles on their own interest and self satisfaction. None of your Business ~

  2. There's not one listed for Celica nor Corolla...

Um....but there should some other manufacturer making them for the Rolla.

Just wanna ask what you guys reckon about this KIND of intake??

  3. hey hey! wow i thought u guys were all oldies

i was just wondering, besides all those sportivos modification, has anyone done anything with their ascents?.. its ok to be curious when young right? :P

Nah, man. I'm under 25 and just get rid of my P plates. By the way I'm from Syndey and welcome aboard. :)

  4. Drive to Brisbane or get a CES system freighted down there. A few from Sydney are doing the drive up here for that reason!!

    Haha..thanks.. :)

you could try Liverpool exhaust as they advertise having a custom exhaust for the Corolla, Influx and xTiGeRx also have a custom system from somewhere but I'm not sure where, you should ask one of them...

Cheers. Has any of you guys heard about the Hi Tech mufflers near Oxford Street, Sydney?? They seems doing CES as well, everytime I drive pass, there is always a hot car there. I've seen a Lambo, NSX, quite a few Ferrari, and also that "ridiculous" Rally looking WRX STI POLICE CAR.

I think the Hi Tech may have some reputation for CES??:blink:

  5. I got standard headlights :P and the police never hassle me :P

There's a solution to that ... flash your lights at every cop you see, that'll get them interested! :P

Or.......learn from Takumi........switch the headlight off when tailing .......then when overtake them and go side by side turn the headlights back on again :P :P :D

  6. Hey all!

I'm about to go HID! Whoo hoo! I'm picking up a set http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

    tomorrow but haven't decided on 6500 or 8000 s

I've heard the 8000s make me a cop target.

    Any suggestions?

My car's metallic Crimson btw (coz if i had a blue or black i'd get the 8000 without a thought.. it just looks better)

any nasty things i should look for during the aiming / install?

I've got a 7000k. Looks a litte bit blue, never have any problem with the cops, even I was pulled over to do random breathe test and drivning behind cop's car.

I personally perfer White over Blue. I know Blue looks a little more nicer, but the White reflects the objects better when you doing Night driving. And yeah, White is 100% legal. :)

Tips: You may find you only have so limited room to work on during installation behind the light unit. You may have to squeeze and twist your hands like ****.

  7. Welcome Orbit, :D . Nice ride, look so niceeee. Alot smarter than our Sportivo :)

You have done quite alot to the car, cosmetic as well as performance and handling. Coooooool..........

Can you tell us more about the specification of your car? Engine displacement? Horsepower?? :P

  8. I just finished my Computer Science degree there ~~  :)  :D

You wouldn't happen to know a guy named Ryan there would ya cooley? He's also doing Computer Science. Mind you, i dropped that course after the first year... bloody dreading. :P

    I can't really remember a Ryan there :P .

    Haha........yeah it's damn hard......I struggled with it :(

  9. So i'm guessing its quicker than the Cappuccino and MX-5?  but slower than the Vitz Turbo? That's depressing, i thought it eould be more competitive.. :(

Cooley can you give us more details of what the drivers said abt the RunX an what mods COne has done to the car to make it 5th out of 5 cars!?

Zee, you are only halfy right ~ :P the result of the time attack are here.

    1st Civic EG6 14"111

    2nd MX-5 Roadster 14"201

    3rd C-One Runx 14"857

    4th Vitz 14"885

    5th Cappuccino 14"954

Drift King Tsuchiya said the car handles well, the engine is good, the suspension is well setup no problem going over bumps.

Orido said it's a comfortable ride, but does this car really belongs to here? I still have some doubts

At the end, Tsuchiya added some comment, "when I braked into the 1st corner, the car turned side ways, so it's a striker OUT". Orido said "I think the ABS was turned off on purpose but I guess it is the weak point".

And finally, there is a text box on the screen saying "The Toyota Runx ABS system is equipped with EBD. C-One disable the ABS for the Touge Challenge which result in a rear brake bias."

I don't really understand that in the text box, does it mean the EBD is not suitable for track use, is it just for road safety???

Here is what C-One had done to the car:

    1. C-One ECU

    2. C-One Exhaust

    3. C-One Transmission with stock final drive

    4. TRD 1.5 way LSD

    5. C-One Type SS Damper

    6. Spring Front: 8kg Rear 8kg

    7. C-One brake rotors and pads

    8. Potenza RF-01 215/40R/17

Here is the result of the final ranking

    1st MX-5 Roadster

    2nd Civic EG6

    3rd Vitz

    4th Cappuccino

    5th C-One Runx

And the Roadster had won the final trophy for that Initial D style race with the 2nd place Civic EG6 and Drift King's AE-86.

That MX-5 was a really good car, very well setup and balance.

  10. no it hasn't hit the aussie shore yet as the american touge is the latest in our country but it should be soon i will keep checking with my friend who orders them for his tuning shop

Just watched the video. The C-One RUNX got 3rd place of time attack out of 5 cars. However, the overall ranking is 5th out of 5 :( .

And the three pro driver comment was not so good :(

  11. Hey Xoom,

I'm also after a small white one.

but i wanna see what they come out like in those colours and see how easy cleaning them is gonna be....

Can you let us know about how easy to clean as well??? I may look into silver if white is a mess to clean.

    Thanks :D
