  1. you can do it from the top, only real pain is having room to swing the spanner. i did it a few months back because i refuse to pay a mechanic so much money to do a job that i can do myself. it's an easy job itself and so straight forward but, as i said man, the room to swing that damn spanner. from memory i believe it's a 19mm, 22mm and 24mm i think that you needed. that's for the fastner at the top on the firewall and the ***** bolt on the pump. if you were in queensland i'd help.
  2. update, managed to find some coilovers a while back and got them, only had to modify the rear strut tower to fit the rears and they fit nicely. my wheels, however, are 17x7 +40 and have a slight scrubbing issue on the coilover's themselves which bloody sucks so i'm running stocks on the rear in place for the time being till i find a decent set of wheels with the correct offset that i need, which i've heard would be +38 or less. now i'm shopping for a v6 front lip because it looks strange having the side sit so much lower to the ground compared to the front so i want to have them a little bit closer to eachother, as such. question though, do you know if the brakes or what not from any of the celica's will fit the sv21's? also, that grey camry got involved in an accident so i got another one, lmao.
  3. thanks mate :) can't wait to seal it off and make it's own pod but that's when i'm a little more financial lol. built a box for the two subs in the back but built it too high so it took like, 90%-95% of my boot space lmao. done anything on your Aurion?
  4. recently put some speakers in the doors :) will eventually get around to neatening out the pocket and fibreglassing it so it's more of a "one piece" look. but slow and steady wins the race, yeah? :P let me know what you think! i know it's not the best so negative criticism is not necessary. i'm aware it's rough as guts but it was a half hour job with bugger all supplies. just got sick of the ****ty sound that came from 4" speakers.
  5. cheap? hahaha oh i know that much man. i've heard the celica from around the same year fit's with minor customisation? don't quote me on it though. i'd love to put some coils in, seeing as King's don't make super lows, sadly enough. i do have some mine paint repairs to do on mine though so might consider the celica route after that :)
  6. good evening/morning/afternoon/day ladies & gents. i'm bradley, i'm a newbie camry owner. quite enjoying it really, nice car to drive. want to eventually lower it on coilovers but haven't found any coilovers to fit her yet, dammit. i've attatched a picture of mine, show us yours? :D
  7. yeah the leads are on the cap i want, mine are still on the car. i want to use them but can't. these are my current leads.
  8. well it doesn't man, it's frustrating because i want to keep my leads and replace the cap as it has a crack in one of the mounts. wouldn't mind knowing some options for coilovers if anyone know's anything, like, what car's have the same mounting options as the SV21.
  9. old mate of mine screwed it i think because it looks like the lead has been snapped off (waste of $40 by the looks of things). to me, it honestly looks like it's not meant to come off at all, but i'm curious because i've seen leads out there for this distributor so surely there'd be a way, yeah?
  10. to whom it may concern, i'm just curious guys, HOW THE HECK DO YOU REMOVE THE IGNITION LEADS FROM THE DISTRIBUTOR ON THE 3SFE?!! it has to be the most difficult damn thing i've ever come across lmao! i'm unsure if this has been covered so if anyone has a link to the already spoken about discussion that would be great and i'll delete this afterwards to save the site being flooded with the same **** over and over again. anyways, cheers for any help guys. could also do with a few more tips on the ol' camry as well.
