  1. :P damn..superlow looks so sweet..got me thinking whether low or superlow now >.< was thinking of going low only

to tell you the truth jeremy i sorta wish i went with lows because its not worth the hassle. my car scrapes at most drive ways and speed humps at shopping centres. also i got pulled over a few months ago and a police oficer gave me a defect warning about my car being illegally low. planing on raising the car a little when i get some coilovers. but jeremy if your gonna go with like 18" rims then with superlows you should be fine. it all depends on what size rims you get.

Those cops can go fap off elsewhere. My ar5e superlows make the car illegally low. It's a 50mm drop yeah?

60mm drop and then you're in 100mm clearence territory.

yeah it would have cleared the height restriciton but when the officer actually tested it out there was 3 big guys and a full tank of fuel. so i was ****** about that but not much that can be done.

  2. I'm in talks with them currently. Still a tad confused after the email I received back, but from what I gathered I have to trade in my existing headers and pay for the new ones?

Plus with the catback, I asked for the exhaust piping minus the muffler and they seemed intent on selling the muffler with it.

yeah id recommend on buying the muffler aswell. cause the muffler and components in the system were designed to work together. so if you havent got the same muffler it may be to loud or not perform as well.

  3. i really want to do this with mine i was thinkin getting a cheap set of second hand headlamps so i dont have to worry bout throwin the car back together in a hurry may even do a how to guide or possibly do sets on exchange for those who arent keen to get theyre hands dirty.

for those worried bout stuffing the paintjob up your painting onto chrome so itll be easy to clean off with thinners or possibly even acetone and redo

ye i thought about buying a set of headlights before i did mine but it costs to bloody much so i just did it with my standarx ones. ive heard people do it and have the headlights back on in like 5 hours. i dont kno if they did bodgy jobs or not but i did everything properly and took my time doing it and all up it took me about 8-9 hours believe it or not. i removed both headlights and painted and then put them back on the car in one night. i also had 2 people helping me out. and i also swore not to do it EVER again.

yeah 5-6 hours sounds right it depends on the cure time for the paint id rather make sure the finish is right before i put it back together though but then im going to sand off the chrome and paint the area gloss black so i want it to turn out right

that is exactly how i did it. i sanded the chrome. but not all of the chrome but enough so the new paint sticks on. then did the eash procedure with wax and grease remover and all that stuff. i used black vynil spray in matt. so expect it to take a minimum of 6 hours.
