Ok guys car (Corolla '07 ZZE122 Hatch) has just gone out of warranty and stuff starts feeling like its going wrong. Basically over the last few weeks the car has felt heavier than normal and seems not be as responsive overall. I have checked the power steering fluid and the tyres still have tread left but have done 45k so I understand they are worn but never the less. Also have a front strut brace which I will do a test run and remove over the weekend to see if it makes any difference at all. Was cleaning my car yesterday and noticed when I pushed on the car one of the rear springs/suspension was making a squeaking noise which none of the other wheel assembly's do. Im going to take it to a suspension shop to get it checked out but wanted to see if anyone has had something similar. I know the roads in WA are horrible and ive done a fair bit of towing/gravel roads but should it be failing after 45k/3yrs? Any info would be great as I know its vague but just don't know where to start.

Just bout a RYCO filter and not as much dust/dirt in the car...big plus for less cleaning.

So basically been getting my car serviced at the mechanic my parents have used for ages over the last 2-3 services but am beginning to question oils etc as I can see some differences between services and I think the brand of oil changes each time (Mobil first time Penrite this time). My car is out of its warranty soon so dont want it to die quicker than necessary. What are the ideas of the best engine oil and gearbox oils and any other oils I can add on. As the 1zz's love to rev most of my time is spent between 4-6k so its not driven like a granny. Also with more rev'ing what is a good amount of months between changes of oil to reduce effects. Also as far as clutches in the 1zz's is it worth getting a hd clutch as over the nearly 3 years ive had it the gear changes/clutch have been getting sloppier and slower than at first. If anyone has anymore ideas fire away as its just about time for some minor tweaks.
