ok ok this is the proposed set up gcg turbo: -garret gtx28 or gtx29(i haven't make the choice yet)( the 29 it performance better on higher rpm) (28 it performance better between 1000 and 2500) the guy that i talked to said that the 28 would be better for the towin situation. -intercooler system( allows winch on the front) -fit kit .... -safari snorkel( does it make any performance difference if i get a standar snorkel)( 400 aud diference) -new manifold for the turbo to fit -3 inch alloy exhaust system -chip (tuned) suspension: -oztec heavy load raised cargo kit (thil16) 30 on front 50 rear. all opinions are welcome. thanks.

ok ok i think i've got all the engine turbo and intercooler figured out, what about the suspension???, you know oztec??? feel free of makin any opinion on this one, i was thinkin about EFS but i friend told me that oztec is better

it was not even a boat it is a caravan (1800 kilos) , but the problem is doin it at high speed?? or towing is the problem??, i remember traveled with a small 2.3 petrol 1998 rodeo more than 3000kilometers on a 3 month trip across the long on of Chile in southamerica towing a 1500k caravan for 5 people, and the truck behaved well. i rekn if i keep the engine all good with a good intercooler system it shouldn't have an issue. i would have bought the crusier but they don't com on dual cab until 2010 and those new engines i dont trust them that hard the thing is that new hiluxes don't last as much as hiluxes from 05> and they are way to heavy.

sweet i send them an email, and in terms of intercooling and the chip, i've never used a chip before any thoughts on that? the budget is no problem, i'm trying to make the perfect hilux. hahaha

what do you think about mambatek i found a mambatek turbocharger for my engine.

i need it for towing, a close friend told me the engine is strong enough, so i'm following his directions, i'm gettin a new turbo, a water to air intercooler, 3 inch exhaust and a chip, i think that with all that is enough for towing a medium size caravan. i'm all good on the exhaust, i allready bought it. i need to buy the turbo and the intercooler, if you have any info on who makes the best turbos and intercoolers here in australia, i't would be a good start, i've seen a new turbo upgrade (MAMBA) on ebay. and a intercooler on turboaustralia.com.

wich engine could be better than the hilux 3.0td, maybe a landcruiser engine, but is not to bigg?, i been chasin this subject for a long time, i dont know it to try to improve mi allready existing engine or straight away change it for a stronger one.
