ok so im coming saturday, but sunday i cant ='[ i hate it when family over rule u on long weekends !!! not happy but saturday should be good =] cant wait (hope my car is fixed before the weekend)!! just thought i would tell you all no Northy is taking one for the team lol

not sure if the questions is directed at me but yer..... if so: about a month now im used to it dont get me wrong and the position i love, like u said from reverse to 1st and back its just theres no lock like the supra or evo thats all.

There's a little piece just under the gearknob that you have to pull upward with your fingers while you shift it into reverse same sytem, i like that system :D

i hate it, sure theres only 3 other ways it can go but still, with my dad supra it has like a handle u have to pull up so if u dont pull it up u cant even force it into reverse. but when im rushing i sometime put it into reverse if it wasnt for the sound i would have had no bumper left lol

yer i understand a little grinding noise but this is way to much even the guy said "thats way to much" and we checked the clutch for air(shouldn't be any) but there wasn't so i have to take it in. he said it might need a new pressure plate....and or clutch thats what i have had to do and then it works fine, but lately its been happening even when i do that so i was like stuff this, there has to be something wrong.

ok my stivo is going in the shop on wednesday ='[ not happy seeing as the cruise is this weekend (should be fixed hopefully) my problem is when i change gears from 1st to Reverse (from stop obviously) it makes a grinding gear sound...so not cool the toyota guy said it should be done on the day if the parts he thinks it is comes in. has anyone else had this problem ?? my cars not going to be that clean for the cruise !!! aarr last minute shine is all i will have time for NNNNOOOO. lol

hey all, my situation is im slowly getting parts for my carputer, but as we all should no the next big meet is coming up very soon. to find the places i need a map and i hate reading roads maps !!! so my good friend let me borrow his tomtom and im very happy with it and the cool features. 1. just wanting to no is there any real difference between tomtom and Centrafuse, can the Centrafuse do what the tomtom can ?? 2. Centrafuse does it have all updated roads for australia?? does anyone no where they get there mas from..whereis maybe?? thanks all.

thats a great idea, might have to do it myself =D the only problem i saw was you have your fuses and the rear in the boot with your amps meaning u have about 2 - 3 meters of power wire that is unprotected. sure some people say there shouldnt be a worry and thats true but if there is u have no idea where to start. if the insulation for some reason breaks or gets a cut in it (were the wire enters the car though that 10mm hole or so) if that insulation gets damage and comes into contact with the body (and it will if it breaks) your car will start getting voltage and current running through it like a person on speed (if someone touches it and its more than about 500mA there dead or very close). im only saying this cause i have seen people do the same and they have had problems(moved the fuse no more problems), and why would u put a protective device (fuse) near to back and very close to your system?? can anyone really justify this ?? just thought i would throw that out there, but its a killer idea Aiden =D

ok so im going to check the wire on thursday after work....cant do it 2day cause by the time i get home it will be dark and theres no light. =[ but i have been looking around where do i buy just signal wire?? , is it just normal stranded 1.5 ?? or 1mm?? does supercheap or someone sell it cause when i looked they only had the normal speaker wire and power cord. aarr lol thanks Aiden

well if u consider that the astra is turbo'd and the stivo isnt i would go the stivo. therefore im pointing towards stivo....wouldnt the insurance be less cause its a non turbo car, seeing as shes a younger driver (below 25) ?
