  1. Welcome to the forum Matt, Gotta love those Hiace campers..good luck with the conversion and I hope when done you will have many many times loving an escape in our beautiful country KAA
  2. Thanks for that Ash but I am sure it was our DETAIL KING Tony who gave us the idea of the coating on his steering wheel..I also use the Oakwood products as i bought 2 boxes when they were on special last year at Supercheap.. I have found them pretty good at keeping the wheel's leather in great shape..our Presara is now 11 years old but the leather interior is excellent and the leather on the steering wheel still feels great on the hands. I follow my Dad's wise words of look after it and it will last well, and that is what I do..I allow lots of time when doing the interior, as doing most things these days wears me out fast Keep Safe All KAA
  3. Welcome to the forum Lauchlan, wow an oldie but a goodie the old Hiace, I hope some can help you get that back on the road..there are many who have knowledge and I am certain will assist all they can Keep Safe KAA

  7. Saw the same video and yes Pan really explained the facts and cleared up the myths with ceramic coatings, I was really surprised about Avalonking giving such a long life protection..so yes a good deal for sure on those kits..have added to the must do some thinking about list..as money is a bit tight right now. Thanks for posting all the details Tony Keep Safe Keep Strong KAA
  8. Good to hear Squalled that you got around to doing some work on your beast..and even managed to get her washed and coated..she still looks a beauty so well done mate KAA

  10. Thanks Ash, Yes many will now be able to head from Queensland to regional parts of NSW..we are hoping our son in Brisbane will now be able to come down and see us..missing him so fingers crossed it remains calm down here..would have been kinda strange having an empty highway for a while normally we are behind a few big semi's heading in the same direction as us..which we back off and wait for the best spot to pass. I do hope your journey is safe and enjoyable for you mate, thanks for the update and will look for more to come, say hello to the flame trees at Wagga Keep Well KAA

  12. Yes I agree Tony I did have about 8 I subscribed too on there now i have 3..I was getting sick of the plugs for their sponsors products, the adds for damn video games, and the intro's that had to include total rubbish ..Pan keeps it fun simple and to the point always.. Keep Safe KAA
  13. Well done Tony..Yes planning ahead and thinking smart always makes jobs easier and a certain satisfaction as well..I did think those dollys made the job so much easier and allowed a stability so hands are free to do the work easier..i hate having to drag the jack out just to get to lower areas to clean.. Pan is a source and wealth of knowledge and his videos are always well put together..I hate the ones that have to repeat and repeat stuff before actually showing you what they are about Keep safe KAA
  14. Thanks the forum is looking great and your work is very much appreciated KAA
  15. LOL was that from watching Pan The Organiser's latest video where he helps promote another youtuber..can't recall his name but it was all on wheel and wheel well cleaning where he used those..only watched that last night Well done Tony.. KAA
  16. Hmm wonder if it comes with Engine Conditioner as well to enhance the inner glow and make the oil shine and add extra spark as it flips its hair LOL 😁😁
  17. Well Luke the wheels look awesome..well done..I hope the longer drive in the hill area shows how good they really are..Let us know KAA
  18. Luke sometimes life forces us to take risks, I am assuming they have some sort of replace free if they are not the tyres for you?..if not it will be one of those learn from experience moments..the rims do look good shame about those damn scratches..you did well to get the smaller ones out..i think polishing will do little to remove the deeper ones..you may have to sand and recoat them but personally I would leave them alone and live with what you have for a while..there are loads of specialists who do rim restorations for later if need be, or check out the videos on Youtube for doing it yourself..there are heaps Let us know how the rims and tyres turn out, looking forward to the end result in Pic;s KAA
  19. Yes Tony is our Detail Porn Provider..finds these pretty and cute toy's to tease us with all the time LOL 😜😜😜 KAA
  20. Yes strange question ..are you trying to find the hidden features you talk about?..usually all the features you may have in your model of Yaris are featured in your owner's manual..some may be off because they are not available in your model, or not connected for the same reason..so please provide more information about what your attempting to find out or do Zombie
  21. I also enjoy the chrome surrounds, but i can see the appeal of blackening them out so it does look good and you did a neat job Matt Interestingly Ash, I had the same happen to me today in an underground car park, a silver grey older camry decided to do about 50 KPH through a section the wrong way swung around the corner and i almost stepped in front of it..fortunately saw the windscreen in the weak lighting and stopped..glad i did as they didn't stop at all..I got the licence number as it had to stop for another car backing out... so..have sent it to a friend at local police station who will give them a "REMINDER" of the road rules..LOL..some colours just blend so well into the background especially when they have not been cleaned for 10 years as this one looked like KAA
  22. Welcome to the forum Wasim, glad you have joined us..A lot of experience on here to help with any questions, enjoy your toy and as Ash and Tony suggested keep it well maintained and it will serve you well KAA
  23. Good info Ash, I have always run my Aurions tyres at either 36 - 38 PSi..when on a long haul trip it is possibly 38-39 PSI..if i had a thermal thermometer i would certainly be checking them better.. as tyres are the lifesaver it was great advice to buy the best you possibly can afford as they are the only defence against idiot driver and wild wet weather like we have right now across the central coast NSW..today i really felt the benefit of the Michelin Primacy Brand of tyres..as when we left for the shops it was only spitting rain when we came out it was dumping from a great height on us and water everywhere in pools..the grip in the wet is incredible..and the car stuck like glue KAA
  24. Yes Ash seems a lot to dump on us for days yet, fortunately where I am it is very sandy soil so it drains away fast when the rain stops..I was going to do some work on the wheels but after yesterday's dumping it washed them for me when we went shopping, so decided to fix the rubber boot button beside the number plate lights..it had that melting issue and had bugged me for years..so after removing the switch assembly and not being able to find one at any wreckers I raided the storage cupboard belonging to "She Who Must Be Obeyed" I located a flat small section of silicone and cut and fitted it..perfect seal and works fine..so felt I actually got something accomplished..and also was not smothered in my sleep for raiding her secret hide away place..😲 KAA
  25. Welcome to the forum Neil..Hope you find a buyer for your Vienta KAA
