  1. Hey guys I'm knew here and to the world of 4X4's in general I have a 1994, 80 series Petrol manual landcruiser. She's my pride and joy and I love driving her, but recently there has been issues highlighted about weight limits and I'm concerned as trying to get the figures seems to be harder than I anticpated. From what I've been told, she has a GVM of 2980kgs? My question is how many kg's can my car actually weigh before its becomes overweight? She is currently sitting around 2.3-2.4 tonnes before we load up with family and camping gear. We also have a trailer tent which without any gear is 750kgs so I know I need to get brakes on it, but is there a combined maximum weight for both car and trailer? Thanks in advance for any help
