Hi Rex, I have an 08 Hiace KDH221R, 3L, 1KD engine. As Toyota don't tend to change anything unless they need too I assume your oil filter like mine is behind the exhaust manifold, I find it easiest to locate and change from under the left side of the van, behind the wheel. The filter is angled vertically and horizontally towards the front of the engine. Greg
