  1. Well, it's been a month now since I reset the computer on my 1995 80 series 4.5 litre Landcruiser and everything is still working as it should. It now idles at 650 rpm and no idiot light playing up. Overdrive works well, no overheating. It's back to being very reliable again.
  2. Will do. So far so good. Having read up on this topic, there are also 3 error codes which can only be read by computer analysis. Don't remember them all but 1 is servo motors faulty, 2 is block oil pipes in transmission and I can't remember the 3rd.
  3. I did this 6 days ago. Everything is now running perfectly. Took it for a long drive of just over 200km with plenty of power. Overdrive working fine no flashing light. Fuel tank warning light is now off. Driven it around town since then and still all is OK.
  4. My 1995 Landcruiser 4.5L petrol overdrive light started flashing and the fuel tank warning light came on. Also had a loss of power and over heating. The way to fix this is; 1. Disconnect the positive battery terminal for 30 minutes. 2. Reconnect the terminal. Now it should be OK. I had this problem and by doing the above, it fixed everything.
