many thanks trentmeyer23 very illuminating to say the least. Finding parts for this model is harder than the french cars I own. it looks like the distributor is a mix of FE and C ae 80/82 tehnologies. Even the haynes manual does not have the specifics.

Hi all new to this forum but familiar with the workings. As Im on the french car forum aussiefrogs Im looking for a distributor to fit the a 4a SOHC 1.6 motor. Preferably new but good condition used would help. Anyone have ideas?

Hello all Don from Newcastle I have inherited my mothers AE 80/82 Corolla as she no longer drives, and added this to my stable of four french cars. I will be asking some questions about parts and maintenance in the near future.
