  1. Hi Guys

I own a 2003 Corolla hatch and i want to darken the tailights from the normal red to a much darker shade. I have attached a picture for example below.

Anyone know how this is done? or whether it is just a complete new set of taillights?

    thanks.

    p.S i'm in melbourne

  2. Stock Silver sportivo...always parked at the same spot on the top floor of car park in off Queen St in Melb.

During my break, i look down from the building and its always there....

ALso, another silver sportivo (stock?) driving down Burwood Hwy at around 6pm towards city (and just past Middleborough).

  3. Hey Waiwong38,

I am thinking of getting the C-one grille myself coz its thicker up top and hte mesh seems tighter knit.

But looking at ur pics, it looked like the mesh b/w C-one and TRD are the same. Is that right? or did u change the mesh.

I have a silver corolla so i think a tighter knit mesh will have more silver looking on the mesh. better.

if its not tighter or any different...mmm...maybe id just get the oem grille for half the cost.

  4. Thx Kcorro.

I had a read of the past threads. But didnt say much.

NEW QUESTION: for a panel air filter, which is best : oil-based air filter (e.g KN) or foam air filter (e.g TOMs)?

which is better? considering that oil based u have to clean? (when and how to clean?) how about foam based? (when and how to clean it?)

  5. Hair dryer, dental floss that's all you need.

Use the hair dryer to warm up the badges so the sticky stuff gets soft, and use dental floss behind the badge in a sawing motion and it will just come off.

Then get some goo removing agent and clean off the mess, and wollah.

    Thanks man!

TOday a guy told me just use a credit card taped in sticky tape and use in behind the badge in a sawing motion similar to dental floss.

Nonethless, your contribution is much appreciated! Sounds like ur way may be the easier, quicker and less messy way too!

Coz i spent heaps of time trying to take off the guey glue stuff

  6. I want to take off the "1.8" silver emblem on the side of my corolla (i.e under the indicator lights).

SHould i just slowly rip them off? or does anyone know a safe way of taking them off w/o damaging the paint or leaving some sort of mark?

    thanks!
