  1. Hi All, I wanted to start a discussion on OW20 engine oil for the new Kluger 2017 2WD. The dealer recommends 10W30. The manual says OW20 or 5W30 or 10W30. Just to be on the safer side, I drop the oil after 1000Km and noticed some debris (fillings) in the filter. But oil looked clean and felt like a 0W20. I am suspecting it what is used in America where the car is made. Filled in with new oil Penrite OW20 but later find out that Penrite recommends 5W30 (both full synthetic GL5). When I have checked out the viscosity at high temperature OW20 is 8.7 cts and 5W30 is 11.3 cts. But quite a difference at low temperatures which is what you would expect. Question1: is it safe to keep on using 0W20 or should I drop the oil and use 5W30. Question2: Has there been any damage done (car has done an additional 2000km with 0W20). I have seen on you tube videos where 0W20 is used for the new Kluger. Appreciate your feedback.
