Nityo

The boomerang steering arm (example pic below) on our 1992 Hilux snapped into two pieces while making a tight turn. Upon inspection it appears to have been cracked for some time as there was rust present half way through the break line. No other evidence of a collision or impact. Anyone know what could have caused this to happen? Is it common? Thanks mates.
