The MIL has a 2001 Rav4 that the drivers door lock now fails to lock and unlock with the key fob and door switch. The lock functions manually when operated with the key. I can hear the lock clicking when the key fob button or door switch is pressed so there is power. Ah hah, it must be the actuator motor, I thought. I sourced another lock (correct model) and same thing. Is there anything else it could be? What are the chances of me sourcing a dud locking mechanism? Hope you can help. Any hep appreciated.
