  6. i love these videos. I looks like they left in a few more mistakes this time.
  7. I will 100% be getting one of these in 2014
  8. It might have just been that the Torque app didnt support the right protocol. Dont know what one the ECU is using but it might just be a matter of finding an application that uses the correct one.
  9. I think mine say Toyota Wish on them, which i think is a zze130 although im not 100% sure.
  10. ahahah it just keeps getting worse for her
  11. yeah its a shame Toyota never bring out anything to compete with this sort of hot hatch. I did hear some talk earlier this year about them considering the Blade and Blade master but i think we are gonna have to wait for the FT86 if you want any sort of sporty Toyota.
  12. awesome. im gonna wash my car this weekend then :)
  13. how is your home network setup? you may need to do port forwarding to get the updates to work.
  14. always wanted one of these after seeing the ones in the UK
  15. I got one of these bluetooth ODBII dongles off ebay for about 30 bucks, I was planing on using it with my HTC desire using Torque. However it cant find the correct protocol to use with the sportivos ECU. Works fine on my girlfriends swift and a friends liberty though.
  16. my first one was a 1986 RT142 Corona in dark blue. I ran it until the engine gave up and someone bought it for the IRS rear end for some project then I had a 1987 AW11 MR2 that i got really cheap and it had a lot of electrical issue. Had to sell it after about 6 months because it broke down on some train tracks and almost killed me. any my latest is a ZZE123 sportivo that I have loved :)
  17. cool, that make more sense. thanks for the tip
  18. My Sportivo is about due for a service now and I was thinking of getting them to adjust the clutch.I have heard that if it takes a lot of force to change gears at high rpm then letting the clutch out a bit can fix it. I dont think its a gearbox fluid issue as the temperature doesnt seem to effect it. can the clutch be adjusted without having to detach the gearbox?
  19. thanks, pulling it out with your hands worked fine. if you tilt the air vents down you can pull the whole thing out easy. some of the screws were a bit hard to get to but i got there in the end. now i have a 2008 corolla 6 stacker with mp3 and bluetooth in my stivo :D nice!
  20. Anyone got any tips on how to removed the double din stereo from a ZZE12x corolla? I just purchased one from a newer corolla and need to removed the old one first. I had a look in the corolla repair manual i downloaded and it says there are 8 clips i need to removed on the stereo surround. Do you just jam a screw driver in there and pry the cover? or is there trick to it. The manual offered the tip of put some tape around the screwdriver. Dan
  21. I've got a spare set. unpainted and yours for 40 bucks :)
