  1. From my understanding, Toyota must create pdf files before go to the printing house. They just simply upload to their support site for people can look at. Many companies now use this facility to save papers. By the way, could someone please tell me how can I set the clock (it is 1 hr behind). I can't find the manual of my Presara and can't find any option on the Menu which helps me to set the correct time on the clock. Regards, BH
  2. Thanks, already paid in bulk thru broker up to 31/12/2011. Will pay by myself from 1/1/2012. BH
  3. Sorry, searching for "Toyota Links" but could not find any. After 3 years free, now getting a letter saying to keep this I have to pay $240/year. Is it expensive, reasonable or dirt cheap ? BH
  4. Sorry, am I missing something ? what do they do ? Regards, BH Updated: Well, looking at the subject talking about HID, my head was thinking about lights, lights, lights ...
  5. I paid $750 for it to fit onto my Presara 3 years back BH
  6. Thanks. It took me a while to workout how to undo three small clips which hold the battery; at the end: perfect. Many thanks again, BH
  7. I took my car to a dealer/worhshop yesterday. They could not find the problem, only few errors here and there including error for sun/moon roof. They told me they need more time next time, if happening again. BH
  8. This morning, I went shopping and realized the red air bags light ON. I stopped my car, switched it off and start again, the red light went off. But after traveling for another 500m or so, my internal phone rang and a lady from Toyota Link told me my car called home, I need to bring it to a dealer to check the air bags. I've got no car few days perhaps. BH
  9. Hi, Before doing any damage, please confirm: is it the small slot next to the big key hole in this image ? Regards, BH
  10. Hi, Thanks for the info - It looks like Jaycar is the way to go. I can not find the old thread which you mentioned above. I can open and shut a mainframe but don't know replacing a battery of a car key may lost the code or not. BH
  11. Last night when turning off the engine, my Presara told me the battery for my key is too low. The car is nearly 3 yrs old and my other Toyota (Vienta Grande) is nearly 11 yrs old but the keys from the other car are still ok. I even use the keys of the Presara very little interms of pressing them. My qutestion: how long the batteries inside the keys of the Presara normally last ? BH
  12. 1. Same as mine, I normally setup 23 C (driver's side). 2. One thing I've noticed: the car is much hotter than my Vienta Grande after same duration under ther sun. Both cars are same color outside but the Vienta is not black inside. The steering wheel of the Presarra is much hotter. BH
  13. Well the RAV4 V6 cars have same problem, probably same engines. BH
  14. My son does not live with us and he has never used my car or my wife's car. Well, as you mentioned, could be similar wrong call. She told me the number but I could not write down when traveling at 100km/h. My wife can only remember the last 3 digits. BH
  15. Today, Saturday 5-Dec-2009 at around 13:00 my car speaker (yes car, not phone) rang when I was leaving Sale for Melbourne. After 3 tones, a lady say "hello A..." (not my name but my son's name). I did not press anything and "Hello" back. The lady wanted to speak with A... I said I'm his father and asked her which number she is calling, she told me a very strange number. I said "Probably you call a wrong number", she said "Sorry, Bye". The story: my phone has not paired with my car and how on earth she called a very strange number and my car picked it up - no other car around, I was running at around 100km/h . My car is a Presara and my phone is a Nokia E71. BH
  16. My Presara 60,000km is coming up with a quote $243 (online boking). I don't know how they work this out because the standard maintenence is $160 or very close to that. Anyway, still cheap, I paid $1,600 service lask week for my other car as mentiond in this: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1324695 BH
  17. Very happy with the car for more than 2 years now. One thing I have not work out therefore just say useless: auto headlight, put it on auto and running under some very short overpasses, the light is on and off immediately just 10 to 30 seconds. Could be a delay setup elsewhere. BH
  18. Me ? banhien actually should be written as Bạn Hiền which means good/nice friend. Hope I am. BH

Totally agreed - Can't say HP or Dell or .... laptops are bad because just one unit or two. BH
  20. Few other posts in this thread: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...showtopic=22107 BH
  21. Just let everyone know: Toyotalink does not work at the Telstra Tower car park in Canberra. On 1/7/2009, I took a short visit to the tower, it turned out to be a very long visit: I could not open the car, had to use the key to open it but could not start the car, only getting "Key not detected" message. I pressed Toyotalink button few times but no reply. At the end I had to call FleetPartners and they sent a NRMA guy up to help. Many thanks to the guy (sorry I did not ask his name). He told me: signals from the tower have interfered with the system, we need to put the transposer very close to the start button to start the car. For the record: I could not lock my BMW another day (same car park) using the remote control (and did not know this signal business). BH
  22. Due to small reason, I'm paying RACV $76 per year - after the free period, I may pay RACV a bit more to get more such as "Total care" or "Extra Care". BH
  23. Full tank from Dandenong - took photo at Moe (post again) on a hot day using Shell 98RON. BH
