  1. Thanks, but the antenna is plugged in correctly. I have even tried a different antenna but with the same result. The radio worked fine on the old unit.
  2. Hi, Just brought my wife a 2002 Corolla Sedan and want to upgrade from the standard tape player stereo pictured below. I thought it would be best to stick to a Toyota branded stereo, as it would fit perfectly and use the same connections. So I brought a new cd/mp3 player from ebay also pictured below. I installed the new unit and it fits fine, but the radio will not tune in, I just get static. It came from a brand new hilux, and the guy says it worked fine before he removed it. I don't have all the plugs connected on the back of the unit, just the main ones for power and speakers that were in the car. The others I am assuming are for remote steering wheel control, which I don't need. Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice as to how to get the radio to tune in. I don't think the unit is faulty, but it could be I guess, but I really don't want to have to try and return it to someone on ebay. Any advice would be appreciated. Daz.
