  1. I'm wanting to change my wheels on my project to restore and improve on my late father's Aussie made Camry. I need to know the code/size that wheel sellers use for the Camry. I can only find American descriptions which may be different to an Aussie made Camry SXV10
  2. A late reply (parent illness). I have a double din unit made for my ex BMW project. It will fit but clearly not all functions can be installed. I'm happy I can use a DVD and not CD, that it has a USB input - and a screen. The install is low on my bucket list but if first would give me enjoyment. My elderly dementia mother remains the top of list. 3 decades + ago, it would take short time. Back then. converting my car to from manual or auto was a 4 hour job. Age and pressures affect us seniors.
  3. I'm used to auto transmissions of '80s and '90s, where trans filters are definately to be replaed. repairvehicle's youtube on modern transmissions does have merit. So hard to know. If I had a new car with this type of filter then in my servicing wants, I'd replace it. If I bought one with 150k on it I might not, but do regular fluid changes using the 3 flush change method to get the old oil out of the torque converter. Some car makers are known for extolling less service periods that impress new buyers who will trade in before damage (if any) to the vehicle.
  4. Does anyone know of an Android based head unit to replace the Fujitsu single din cassette playing radio. I'd prefer double din, using the cavity underneath rather than a slide out screen. If no recommendations, does anyone know the cavity dimensions of the double din area I cab play with. Any thoughts appreciated.
