is there a strong 6 speed gearbox that can fit straight on a ln86 hilux wanting to experiment because we all know that a old 2.8 Utes could use a extra gear

i had the same problem with my Ln86 hilux but i opened up my alternator and it was the brushes but if it isn't that then it could well be one of your diodes in your alternator which are fixable but are a bitch to replace
