  1. Hi Ben, I just returned after 12 years living in Hong Kong myself. Yes I've seen the Pimping they do in HK and It's great. I'm not so "ambitious" and am just looking for simple things to make my Estima more comfortable for use in Australia, such as Replacing the Factory Entertainment System which speaks to me in Japanese and the GPS which thinks I'm in Tokyo!! Trying to find a wiring harness to change over this to a Pioneer System I bought when I was in HK recently. Nothing here in Australia, so I may have to search the Auto shops in Hak Po Street MK!!
  2. Recently purchased an Imported 2006 Estima, and the header unit, GPS, Radio Etc, speaks to me in Japanese. While this is cute, I want to replace it with something I can actually use. Original unit is Factory install HDD unit NHCT-W54 (36045). I've bought a Pioneer AVH-Z5250BT to replace it and have tried to find a Wiring Harness to allow me to Plug and Play, but no luck. has anyone had experience with this? I've email Aerpro, but I find they only make the harness for post 2011 models. I've contacted Toyota Australia are "unable to assist" . And I'm am about to contact Pioneer to ask.. There must be an easier way!! Someone must have managed this before, without having to solder and stitch together the wiring packs?? Anyone have some helpful advice please? Pics of old and new attached!!! (devices not me!!) George
  3. Hello, I'm in the same boat. Just purchased a used 2007 Estima G (Import) 3.5L V6 and only Company I can find to insure it is NRMA at a whopping $1957!! I'm in NSW and have offstreet parking- does anyone have recommendations for other insurers please?
  4. Hello Recently purchased a 2007 Used Estima, Direct Import from Japan and seems there's very little support for after market mods here in Australia. Anyway will be trying to participate in the forums to seek help and also offer help. I'm a frequent traveller to Hong Kong and China. Hong Kong has a well established Estima owner's club and lots of Auto shops specialising in ESTIMA parts and accessories. Cheers George
