I actually own both an Aurion Presara (which is a brilliant car) and a 2021Supra GR GTS. I assure you that the Supra will leave the Presara in its dust in any sort of race off the mark. Also, each car is totally different to drive in that the Presara is sort of a boat to drive after the Supra. Mind you I still love my Aurion Presara. You may note on Youtube that on German Autobahns that the Supra is good for about 300kph and shoots to 160kph in a heartbeat. The Presara is just not in that league. Also, of interest is that my wife and I have just completed about 2500 kilometres in our Supra GR GTS from the Gold Coast to Airlie Beach and back. 5.7 liters per 100 ks (which I think may be about 50mpg) on cruise control and of course lots of attention for our Monza Red Supra on the journey. What an absolutely superb car the Supra is. Oh! also a tip I am now using 'Maguires Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax polish' on the Supra. Best polish I have ever used and I have been polishing my own special cars for 60 years all over the globe.

Had my Aurion Presara dashboard replaced yesterday at a cost of $800 at Hinterland Toyota Gold Coast. Toyota paid half of the cost of the part. Bit expensive but the new dash look great.

Totally agree that the V6 Aurion is a superb car. My vehicle is now 12.5 years old with only 75,000 on the clock and is like new but is going into the Dealership next week to have a sticky dashboard replaced. Toyota have agreed to pay for half of the cost of the new dashboard. Amazing that the Aurion has an external engine oil cooler and active engine mounts. As a second car I purchased a new 2021 Supra GR GTS in January and my new Supra/BMW has broken down twice within twelve weeks. OK 12.5 years with the Aurion and not a problem. 12 weeks for a $105,000 BMW and the thing had no drive available. Mind you 15 software updates on the Supra and the car does seem to be running OK, and what a car.

Yep, damned BMW's. Anyway the car broke down again on me totally losing drive and then the ability to get into the car, etc !! So back to the Dealership and 15 software downloads later and she seems to be running without problems. Mind what an absolutely brilliant car. Mind you in Ferrari Red I do find people, who do not recognise the Supra, thinking it is a Ferrari. Fantastic performance driving with superb looks and yet more rare than a Lamborghini on the Gold Coast. Interestingly my 285kw 2021 build GTS which I bought December 2020 was actually built by Magna Steyr, Graz, Austria for BMW in March 2020. The car was then imported to Australia in August 2020. So I have a sort of BMW with a Toyota Body but built by Magna Steyr in Austria and not by BMW. What a mix.

You know I sort of expected my new Toyota supra to run for a bit longer than 12 weeks before it became undriveable ?? Well I guess it is a BMW although not made by BMW but by a company called Magna Steyr in Graz Austria who build cars for BMW. First problem was that while waiting to turn into a petrol station at Tin Can Bay the car lost all ability to select a drive mode so I sat there in pouring rain with my hazard lights on wondering "what next". After about 5 minutes the drive selector came back to life. Then I could not lock the car by touching the door handle but only by using the key remote. Then next time I came to the car no instrument console lights and no heads up display. They both came back the next time I used the car. I wrote to the guy who was responsible for building my car (the Toyota Supra Production Manager at Magner Steyr in Austria but no response as yet) although in copying Toyota into my mail to Magna Steyr Toyota did come back to me quickly. Next trip in the car will be to Hinterland Toyota at Robina to se if they can sort the problem out. Apart from the fact that the car does not work I absolutely love the creature. What a driving experience and what a difference when I drive our other car, an Aurion Presara which has run for 12.5 years without breaking down, now that is Toyota quality. Have any other Supra owners had problems with their cars ??

I Have just purchased a 2021 285kw Supra, which is of course, an exceptional vehicle. However, one issue that I seem to have is that the indicators are very hesitant to cancel when lane changing on motorways. They seem to need a far greater steering input to cancel than does my Aurion Presara. Is this just a BMW thing. Have any other Supra owners noticed this hesitation in indicators cancelling ? Apart from that issue this car is motoring heaven and 6.5 litres per 100 ks on a run. Thanks Greg

I am intending to buy a Supra GR GTS 2021 once the creature ie released in Australia and have downloaded an owners manual from a US site. However, I can not work if it is possible to set the level of traction control and stability control applied in the sports setting. So from existing GTS owners is it possible to set stability and traction control levels in Sports mode.

For those interested there are some great road tests of the new 2021 285kw Supra on American web sites via Youtube. I note that all the testers spend lots of time laughing due to the exhilaration of driving the 2021 car.

Hi Guys and Girls, Virginia and I presently live in Qld and own an absolutely brilliant Aurion Pressra, however since Virginia and I retired we have lived all over the world and Australia for the last 18 years. Of course this means driving all over Europe and cruising my Paris based hire car at 175 kilometres an hour on German Autobahns. I was not willing to go any faster as I did not know what speed the French tires were rated to. We are now settled in an apartment in Broadbeach and are intending to add a Supra GR GTS 2021 to our garage when the new 285kw version is available later this year. However, where we end up in 12 months time is anyone's guess. Crazily I am intending to do the grey Nomads thing with a Supra and not a caravan. No, luckily, we are not grey bit still nomads. Thanks. It just seemed so strange with over 70 coming onto the secondhand market within a few months. Boy are the owners of those secondhand cars going to take a large loss of cash. If the new version can really do 0 to 100 in around 3.8 secs then its a really cheap super car. Cheers Greg

I presently drive an absolutely brilliant Toyota Aurion Pressara and am intending to add a 2021 Supra GTS to my garage when the new 285 kw model is released later this year. Now a question to fellow Toyota enthusiast. On my reading, and sitting in the car many times, the new Supra GTS is a brilliant car for the price and the new 285kw model will be an easy Porsche beater, and for only $100,000+ Now, what I do not understand is why there are over 70 2019 Toyota Supra GTS's languishing on the secondhand market. Am I missing a failing in the new Supra or did present owners just buy from the initial allocations just to make a profit ?? So just to confirm my question is there a problem with the new Supra GT GTS that is causing so many Supras to be sitting on the secondhand market. OK, so it is a BMW Z4, but with Toyota quality built in. Thanks Guys
