Gday everyone Im Harrys Dad (Pat) my son is 13 and has been driving manual since he was ten, I purchased an older hilux 3y engine in an xtra cab 4x4 ute to restore for him
body has had better days but the 4x4 and the diffs are good, alloy tray racks water tanks in the side steps we live near the water in Hervey Bay & we have a couple boats so I thought this would be good for him to rebuild so he had a fraser island rig as well as a ute to make some cash odd jobs and stuff and its a 2 seat so only 1 other teeny bopper in car with him
Im curious what can I swap the body for, what models will fit its rusted pretty bad in the pillar and a bit in firewall
the chassis is great it has good bones we have 3 years before he gets his licence
