Hi, my 2010 Prado has had this 'drumming' sound or sensation from the auto when the car is in overdrive on a straight, flat road when I'm just lightly accelerating. The car had travelled 136,000 and does tow a few times per year. I put the transmission in manual when I tow the caravan. I've had the car for 2 years and the drumming sound has been there since I've owned the car. Passengers don't seem to notice the sound and once I accelerate and car changes gear the sound stops. It's not there all the time, and it is only a mild drumming but it can be annoying and I would like to see if any other Prado owners have had the same issue.
