  1. I have a 2001 Toyota Celica SX with a Greddy V-Manage Piggyback ECU and am looking for a shop, or person who knows their way around the the software. When I bought my car, it came with the ECU and, I believe, the entire harness, however I'm not confident I can optimise/tune it myself. I've looked through countless tutorials and documents going over the E-Manage software but I'm still not sure that I understand everything. I've also looked through Trivial's guide recently, and have decided that it'll probably be safer to get a professional to tune my car rather than do it myself (If I can find someone). Looking for anyone who is able to send, or help me configure a tuning map that I can import into the software (will pay for any 1on1 help or for tuning maps), or a performance shop that knows the 2zzge platform, and V/E-Manage software. Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry if I've posted a common thread. (Edit: I realise i have posted this thread in a general area rather than the 'Celica' Forum Section, as I thought that I could possibly get help from a larger range of people; corolla xrs, sportivo, mr2 spyder etc etc. Apologies for any inconveniences)
  2. Ive thought about the whole cop situation and so far my car is completely legal performance and ride height wise so I'm not too fussed if I get pulled over simply because of the looks of the car. A little disappointed body kits are considered ricer, ill probably still get a body kit since I'm in love with the way it looks. Is ricer really such a bad thing? The car came with BC racing coilovers and im stoked with how they feel. I recently bought a nice set of tyres and some decently priced Repco brake pads so ill definitely look into a nice set of callipers when I get the chance.
  3. Im a going to be on my P Plates soon and naturally, im not allowed to modify the performance aspect of my car until im off them however i can and want to modify my car aesthetically. I have a 2001 Celica SX and i constantly see the car being called a ricer and im not sure if i should be offended or not. I want my car to look cool and perform well when i can start performance mods. I've ordered a Genuine veilside front bumper and want to make the car look cool because i like the way body kits look but i still feel a bit hurt when someone says ill be a ricer or the car is a ricer car. Should i care what people think of my car?
  4. Hi there, Im Tristan from Melbourne and im relatively new to the car community. I bought my first car (2001 Celica SX) a few months ago and go for my Ps in a month. Joined a few Celica forums and Toyota forums to learn how to service, modify and upgrade my car. Excited to start working on and modifying my car to how i dream it would look.
