  1. nevermind... was spinning the ratchet wheels the wrong way!
  2. Working on the dottir's 1999 Starlet. We have a rather steep, roughly 10 degree incline on our driveway. The handbrake won't keep the car from rolling backward. Does a little better stopping it from rolling forward, but that's with a serious yank on the lever- then it's on too hard for the grrrrrlchild to release it. I adjusted the cable with the stop nut on the cable at the brake handle. It's now all the way to the end of the adjustment range, brake is on as firmly as it can be applied with the lever at about halfway through its travel. Didn't make any difference. I then adjusted the ratchet wheels via the holes in the drum brake backing plates. They're also at the end of their range, can't move them any further. Still no improvement. Any suggestions? Thanks :)
  3. Just took delivery of a new Corolla. Same problem with the BT microphone sensitivity. Can't find any means of adjustment. The phone's microphone is not enabled when being operated by BT. I've lodged an enquiry via Toyota Australia's website.
