My mother has a 2001 Toyota Landcruiser Prado KZJ95R 3.0ltr 1KZ-TE Turbo Diesel
We have had it into the mechanic as we are having trouble starting it most days.
We have done the following and it still loses prime;
We have replaced the fuel filter
We have replaced the fuel filter housing
We have replaced the glow plugs
We have replaced both batteries
We split the batteries as when they were connected they were dying too often.
Our issue now is that the vehicle seems to lose prime, we have had to pump the primer about 7 times till it is solid before it would start.
What else can we do?
