  1. Got massively bored so decided to play around.

Ive got a Subaru Libery scoop from when I was going to do some customising to the Forester...so did a quick (read: crap) chop to add the scoop to my car, couldnt get it to work properly so this pic of the TRD was much easier. Still isn't sitting right but you get the idea. Actually keen to do this to mine.

Added some wheels too.......yes I realise they arent moving but the car is. Pretend its a super quick shutter speed ;)

A dude in darwin has the TRD with a pig nose hood scoops very much the same as this one

ill try and get a photo of it.. it looks really good.. suits it a lot..

  2. Few answers to some questions..

No i did not lower my car at all.. Also the tyres are not scrubing on the body at all its the spring on the inside that it is scrubbing on..

going from 17*7.5 to 20*8.5 have moved the rubbed just below the spring and that is causing some rubbing when the car is leaning in corners.

  4. Well after a few days i still have the same sound.. still think my car is going a little bit faster. and it is more responsive when accelrating. i will still get me and v8toy to have a little head on.. he can take my car for a quick race see if he can feel it to.. dyno i might do but someone who has a stock car must do it too..

  5. Well guys installed my CAI on saturday.. tooke about 2-3 hours (inc lunch break). everything fit nice and snug..

first rev of the car once it was all installed i noticed a nice sound.. went for a drive and OMG it was unreal..

ok so most of you want to know if it is worth getting..

If you are going to get a exhaust or already have a exhaust system this is a must have.

The sound that comes out of the engine bay now when above 4000 rpm is loud.. turns heads..

there is def a pick up in the acceleration.. i find it reacts faster when you plant the foot now.. not so much lag as there was before.

I got no dyno or anything to prove this yet. but i am willing to get some.. or line up another aurion (v8toy's) and have a little drag race..

I got plenty of pics and im trying to get a good video/sound of what it is like (this is harder than you think)

Any questions post them up here and ill be happy to answer them..

  6. i dont know about anyone else but my key for my car keeps getting scrached and dropped which is peeling off the paint on the key.

So i was looking around and i found this..

  7. Only problem with that is there is a air sensor not 100% sure what it does but i belive you have to have one for the car to run...

Either way v8toy when i get this in ill have a play with it.. take out the air sensor. etc.. pass on the info here and you came come check it out
