  1. Anyone got a custom exhaust done to there aurion yet?

I think a little bigger pipe will allow the aurion to breath a little more.. giving it some more power and a good grunt to it

I have had a look under the aurion. It goes from the engine into 1 cat(very small cat). Then i think its a 2.5 inch pipe down to the rear wheels then a 2inch pipe out the dual exhaust? im 90% sure on them numbers(someone correct me if im wrong)

    Plz comment :)

  2. It’s not everyday you get to use the words supercharged and Corolla in the same sentence, so excuse me if I keep repeating myself. Toyota has shown-off a supercharged Toyota Corolla at SEMA.

Powered by a 2.4-litre four-cylinder supercharged engine, the Corolla S3 is purely a show car with no plans for production. Nonetheless, it does prove a point, even a Corolla can be interesting.

With a massive front-mount intercooler, 20″ chrome wheels riding on lowered springs and with the supercharger whine helped along with a sports exhaust (with a dual pipe muffler), Toyota obviously understands the need for performance variants to attract younger buyers. So why is it then, that this is just a concept?

TRD Australia should be looking at a tuned Corolla. Surely if there is a market for a front-wheel-drive supercharged Aurion, there is bound to be one for the Corolla.

    THAT looks pimp :)

  3. [Vent]Ok why do you want it removed.. really.. i dont think there is a limiter to start with and anything above 240kms is hard to get to and stupid.

where do you live? top speed limit around there is what 110.. when i went to 240 i was pushing the aurion to its limits..

Sure its built for speed but at that speed a bump in the road can make you loose control. Toyota will not remove a saftety feature. and if you do it yourself you will void the warrenty. Actually i hope they do remove the limiter.(if there is one) so you can hurry up and kill yourself.

  4. hitting 220 in a aurion is nothing.. feels fine.. stearing feels light thats about it..

I have yet to find a speed limiter on the aurion.. 240 is as fast as i have gone in it.. if you want to go faster your crazy..

Yes i did this legally.. NT only put limits on there open road not long ago :)

Your skyline r34 must of been ****.. :P

thought they were speed limited to 180 factory default

  5. Is there any for the aurion.

I dont know how it is down south but in darwin atm in the middle of build up i often get in my car and have a dash that is 45 degress + hot.

I can not touch it, thats how hot it is. So yeha after a dashmat. Couldent find it anywhere on the Toyota website and the dealer ship dident know either :(

  6. Well im thinking of ordering one..

Mkay seeing that you live close by we might be able to order at the same time and go halfs in shipping what do you think?

Im sure this will void some warrenty. But if you dont mind taking it off for your service sure toyota wont know ;)

EDIT: one problem i did find on there website "The K&N store only ships to addresses in the United States."

  7. One thing with the exhaust is when you sitting in the back seat of a TRD and somone is flooring it there is a very nice sound to it.. Like the air is being sucked out of the car.

Take one for a drive.. wind down the windows and go through a tunnel or into a underground carpark. It gets attention i tell you that much..

Ill think ill wait for this AWD TRD that buri has been talking about :P

  8. Toyota today announced the launch of the Aurion Touring Special Edition, adding more ammunition against the Holden Commodore and Ford’s aging Falcon.

The models is based on the entry-level Aurion AT-X, but receives 16-inch wheels, a rear spoiler, leather steering wheel and gear lever.

The Touring also benefits from front and rear parking sonars, a six-disc CD changer, Optitron instruments, a multi-information dashboard display including trip computer and dual zone automatic air-conditioning.

The Aurion is powered by the most powerful engine in its class, a 3.5-litre Quad Cam V6 producing 200kW of power at 6200rpm and 336Nm of torque at 4700rpm on regular unleaded petrol. Power output rises to 204kW with premium unleaded fuel.

Power and fuel efficiency go hand in hand with fuel economy of just 9.9 litres of regular unleaded fuel per 100km, making the Aurion the only Australian-made big six to comply with Euro IV emissions.

All Aurion variants come with a six-speed automatic sequential gearbox and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC - ESP).

With 15,072 Aurions sold to August, the car currently owns 16.5 per cent share of the large car market.

The Toyota Aurion Touring SE has a recommended retail price of $34,990.

  9. Link didn't seem to work, try this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TOYOTA-AURION-DOOR-...1QQcmdZViewItem

It doesn't matter what colour your car is, it says "LETTERS are punched so the colour of your car will show through"

SO if your car is blue, they appear blue etc (not red if youre car is not red)

I know for a fact this will void all warrenty unless Toyota fit them.

I was told by a TRD tech that they will be releasing the super charger to bolt onto normal aurions but it will come at a price..

    Around $10,000 inc install
